"Rrrriiiiinnnnngggggg," the school bell went off.
I hate that bell it stays on for 5 minutes and when it stops and your still not in class. Then you know you are in real shit. The bell informs us that its registration. We walked up the crowded staircase on the second floor of the building, listening to Lorna speaking about the the new guy she met in the holiday. She will purposely make a guy fall for her. I actually feel sorry for the guys because Lorna only uses them for things. Once she has gotten bored of them she then tells him off and finds another one.
She actually finds it amusing when she breaks their hearts. It's all a game to her, but i am waiting for the day she gets a taste of her own medicine. I love her and everything but what she is doing is kinda wrong and i personally wouldn't want someone messing with my feelings like that. We walk into the classroom and i see recognizable faces. I see Audrina's husband and nudge my elbow into her shoulder. Pointing my head into his direction. She looks at him and then back at me.
She rolls her eyes and makes her way to her seat next to mine at the back. She knows i am messing with her and she would do the same if the tables were turned.
"Ok, get your lazy arse's to your seats now, i ain't your mother who is waiting for you to move - GET TO YOUR SEATS!!!", Miss Clarck shouted.
We sat there listening to Miss Clark repeating the school rules. We sat there well she read the code of conducts to us and when she finally finished we received out locker numbers, including our lesson timetables.
"RING", the bell went off again.
Which means we need to head to the next lesson. Audrina and Lorna got up and walked to the crowded doorway. They headed to their lockers to unpack their books from their school bags. I patiently sat in my seat waiting for the doorway to clear of students. I prefer to leave last to avoid all the chaos of all the students trying to leave the classroom at the same time. Some stood in doorway chatting holding up the rest of the students waiting to leave. Which lead to some students shouting and snapping at each other.
When there were only five guys left behind in the classroom. I got up from my seat getting ready to leave. The five trailed slowly behind, still stuck in whatever conversation they were in before registration, waiting for me to leave. When Luke, one of the guys from the group of five pushed in front of me just when i was about to leave. I instinctively move backwards to avoid being in his way. I continue moving backwards and forward as he is still turns around backwards and forward continuously in front of me talking to the rest.
When he tries to make a point to the group and takes a huge step behind him. Making me quickly move back and crashing into someone else. The group stops talking and is silent now. I feel who's ever body up against mine, making me freeze in the doorway. I quickly turn around to apologies. But when i realize who it is, i freeze in doorway again, unable to speak. He looks me in the eyes with at first appeared to be annoyance and then seemed to relax when he realized it was just me.
He gives me that ... he gives me that "smile" of his. He has this specific smile he gives me every time he interacts with me. Its not a normal smile you give a random person. Its that smile that memorizes you and traps you in its grasp kind of smile. I don't like him in a romantic way [meaning i don't want to be in a relationship with him] but i find him attractive. But sadly he is one of those guys who uses his good looks against girls in order to get what he wants. Still stuck in his gaze, i quickly divert my eyes, feeling i was staring for too long.
Seemingly aware of me getting nervous Marshall, attempts to break the awkward silence between us by greeting.
"Hello Iman!" he laughs out.
Feeling really irritated, i bring my attention back on to his eyes. Witnessing the irritating smirk plastered on his face with his eyes staring directly into mine. His enjoying this, he must know i am nervous. Urrgh... Ok i am going to pretend to be annoyed with him. So he doesn't realize how he has left me so nervous. Also that i am unable to respond at this very moment and need to think of something to say. I place the scattered words together in my brain and it finally comes to me.
"Why do you have to call me by my surname Marshmallow?" i whisper back.
Hah he was smiling until i said Marshmallow. Marshmallow is his nick name, his had it even before i came to this school. His been stuck with it his whole life and generally gets annoyed when certain people call him it. But he doesn't seem to mind when i do it. He just laughs at me, he stopped begging me to call him by his name and now teases me back. By calling me by my surname, maybe he doesn't know my surname and actually feels embarrassed to ask me what my name is. The thought of that makes me laugh and i accidentally release a small laugh. I quickly look down so he can't see how happy i am. I am looking at the ground trying to hold my laughter in. When i notice him smiling and leans down to meet my face. Noticing him doing this it knocks the laugh out of me and my eyes meet his. He does this... he does this thing with his eyes, his eyelids are halfway down his eyeball.
