Leksi's P.O.V.
I have never been happier than I was the moment the last bell of the day rang. As soon as I got home I called Luke to tell him to that he can come over now. My mom greeted me in the kitchen and asked how my first day at Miltion High was, of course I only answered with a "Fine." like I always do. I grabbed some grapes out of the fridge right when Luke walked inside. "LUKE!!" I screamed and ran and jumped on him.
"LEKSI!!" He holds on to me so I don't fall."How was it? Tell me everything."
"Let's go upsairs to my room first." I say before grabbing the grapes off the counter and running up to my room with Luke following closely behind and adding a "Hi Mrs. Reed" to my mother on his way through the kitchen. I sat down on my bed and Luke copied my actions. "So?" he asked.
"It was awful! There is this douchebag that came up to me in math thinking he's all that and tells me to get out of his seat. I told him I wasn't moving and he tried to tell me 'I always win so you shouldn't mess with me" I tried to imitate his voice the best that I could. "And I wanted to kill him right on the spot. Ugh. High school sucks." I sigh.
"Sounds like you had a very eventful day today." Luke said and I rolled my eyes at him. "Oh and I like your man voice by the way." He starts laughing and I try to push him off the bed before I start laughing with him. I obviously failed and almost fell off the bed myself from laughing so hard. Once we finally calmed down Luke told me about his day, which seemed just as lame as my day. We laid down on my bed for awhile and neither of us said a word. That is the thing I love most about my friendship with Luke, things never get awkward, even if we are both lost in our own thoughts.
"Leks" Luke said in almost a whisper as he leaned up on his elbow to turn and face me.
"Yeah?" I turned my head to look at him.
"There's only two more years till we get to leave here" He looked back up towards my ceiling.
I smiled. "And move to Australia for college" Me and Luke have always wanted to go to Austrailia to study abroad, it has been our plan for as long as I can remember. I can't wait to leave Boulder, Colorado. Moving to Austrailia will be a fresh start and getting to start a new life with Luke is all I could ever ask for.
Luke laughed. "Yeah, although we both know there will be more partying than learning."
"I can't argue with that one. We should go do something fun."
"Want to go on a walk? We can walk somewhere for dinner?"
"Yes please, I'm starving." I respond thinking abou how hungry I am.
"Let's go" Luke says before standing up and going downstairs.
Calum's P.O.V.
When I first get home from school I see a note taped to the fridge, which means my mom is going to be working late tonight. I look in the fridge and we don't really have any food so I decided to go to the store because I have nothing else to do tonight. As I walk down the street I see the new girl and some guy walking ahead of me. Who the hell is he? Not like it matters to me, but this is the first time I've seen her smile all day. They must have heard me walking behind them because she turns and her smile instantly turns to a frown.
"Who's that?" I hear the guy shes with say.
"The kid from my algebra class I told you about." She responds, her eyes never leaving mine.
"Oh, come on Leksi." He says to her before pulling her down the street to the Red Robin parking lot.
So her names Leksi huh? I'm gonna have to find out more about her if I want to win this war.
