Evolette walked down the halls, smiling at the small groups that's walked past her. Then, she raised an eyebrow as a girl slipped her hand into Benny's. She followed all of the news in the school... it was her job, after all, as the schools own journalist.
She stepped forward towards the couple, and then quickly pulled out a notepad. "Hey Benny!" She said cheerily, and Benny smiled, while the girl dropped his hand. She glanced at their hands, and Benny rolled his eyes. "Meet Evolette, she runs the school paper." He explained, and Alice's eyes widened as she looked up at her. "Really? That's so cool! What do you want to ask?" She asked softly, and Benny winced quietly.
Evolette shot a glare at Benny, then smiled at Alice. "Well, how about we go for a walk, and we let this Debbie downer go ahead and get to class." Evolette said smoothly, smirking at Benny's dumbfounded face. Alice bit her lip, then turned to Benny. "I guess you do need class..." she said softly, and Benny's jaw dropped.
Benny looked down at her with wide eyes, and a smile appeared on his face at her blush. "Alright, alright. Meet me here as after school, okay?" He whispered, careful not to let Evolette hear. She giggled and leaned up, whispering in his ear with a raspy voice, "Don't be late." She teased, and he bit his lip hard.
Benny's cheeks flushed red as she spoke, as there was a slight suggestive tone to her words. As she pulled away, her lips grazed his ear, and his jaw tensed, making Alice smirk playfully. "S-so, meet me here." He said hurriedly, and then turned and sprinted down the hall, hearing a silky voice yell, "Okay Ben!" Behind him.
Alice giggled, and her own cheeks were tinted pink. "So, What did you want to ask?" She said calmly, turning to look at Evolette, who's jaw dropped. "I haven't seen anyone affect him like that, well, except me and Phillips." She smiled, and Alice felt something tug at her chest. Almost like a weight. "H-how do you affect him?" She whispered softly, and looked down at her feet.
Evolette shrugged, and held up her journal and a camera. "Phillips paid me to publish some fake news on Benny. Nothing big." She said simply, but Alices eyes widened. "What?" She whispered, and Evolette sighed. "A hundred is a hundred, okay?" She whispered, and opened the journal. "So, where are you from?"
***Alice laughed, as did Evolette, as they walked. The journal laid forgotten in her book bag, and she occasionally snapped pictures of Alice at random times. Suddenly, the bell rang, making the pair jump. Evolette smiled and looked over at Alice, then hugged her tightly. Alice hugged her back.... but Evolette whispered softly, "take the bull by the horns!" And backed away.
Alice looked at Evolette, the Asian girl staring back at her with a smirk, daring her. Alice blushed, and looked down. "I- don't like him." She sputtered, and Evolette smirked. "Mhmm. I'm sure. Go on, don't keep him waiting." She laughed, and Alice grinned, before sprinting down the hall, through the crowd.
She smiled upon seeing the back of his head, the silky black hair quickly becoming covered with his Dodgers hat. She rolled her eyes playfully, then decided to read him some more. She snuck up behind him, and pulled his hat off, then quickly whispered in his ear, "I like you better without it." Before trying to dive into the crowd of students.
A gasp left Benny's lips as his hat was ripped off, and a shaky breath rolled off his tongue as the soft lips brushed against his ear once more. He spun around instinctively, and his hands grabbed her waist tightly. Alice's eyes shot open, and she looked up at him, startled.
Her blue eyes connected with his honey ones once more, and he let out a small, shaky sigh. She looked up at him, her breath being held, and her mouth slightly agape. His hands on her waist clouded her mind. Her chest ran wild with frenzied breaths. She bit her lip gently, and let out a shaky breath. "B-Ben..." she whispered softly, and Benny gasped quietly.
