The First one's Gift (Discontinued)

The beginning

Keep in mind this story has been bonked or discontinued and is unfinished the reboot is called The Immortal Hero

As I sat there, atop the building I could see the entire city.  My name is Izuku Midoria, and I was about to just jump.  The fall will surely kill me.  I've been bullied since four for being quirkless and I couldn't be a hero, but I still had hope.  That was until All Might squashed it.

'I'm on the roof' I thought 'might as well jump and hope I'm not quirkless in the next life'.  I was on the ledge, just about to take that fatal step forward when a commanding but gentle voice said "Stop".  I looked behind me and saw a man bandages going all around and up his arms, he was wearing a simple tunic and pants as well as a very plain metal mask.  He had dark black hair going beneath his neck.  W-Who a-a-are y-you" I asked the man.  "Erathine" he replied, W-what do you want I said.  "You seem worthy, I will give you some power" Erathine said.  "W-WHAT"!?  "Oh right I'm what you would call god" Erathine replied to my shouting.  "W-why me I'm just a useless deku" I said while trying not to cry.  "First of all, no your not.  Second its not because of your power I'm choosing you but because of your heart" he replied while poking my chest where my heart is.  "Now would you like the power or not.  "Yes" I said and felt my tears flowing from my body.  "Hold out your hand" I did that and he took my hand.  I felt a power flowing through my body like an ocean trying to follow a river.

"Hello miss Midoria, I'm sad to say but I have no family or home and would like to live with you and my friend Izuku"  Erathine said to my mother.  Mom looked at me and I said "He's the only one who protected me at school".  "What"! My mom screamed. I had forgotten I hadn't told her of the bullying. "Well I guess" she said.  "Thank you miss" Erathine said and handed her a bag. "This is a token of my appreciation" my mother took the bag and instantly dropped it.  "W-what's in this thing" she asked as she opened it, and saw the duffle bag full of gold.  Before she could say anything Erathine said "I'll see you in an hour, I have to go get my things before they're repossessed" and walked off.  "W-well I better get searching for a bigger house we're going to need one"  Inko said.
