Introduction

Mary Sue walked up to the guild, staring in awe. This was it. She was finally going to join the guild of her dreams. Fairy Tail.

She quietly walked to the entrance, twisting the handle, and pushing the door open.

There were people, no, wizards, everywhere. Laughing, talking and...fighting?

Mary Sue could only stand frozen. She was too far in shock to do much else.

"Hey," a voice said from behind her. She turned around, to find herself facing...only the most gorgeous guy she'd ever seen.

"You look lost. Are you new?" he asked.

"Um, no, actually. I wanted to join Fairy Tail," she said quietly, blushing.

The boy grinned. "Well, you've come to the right place! My name is Gray Fullbuster," he said, holding out his hand for her to shake.

"My name is Mary Sue, but please just call me Mary," she replied, shaking his outstretched hand.

"Well, come on! I'll take you to see Mirajane." She followed him through a maze of people, straight up to...only her favorite model ever, Mirajane Strauss.

"Hi! My name is Mirajane, but just call me Mira, everyone does," she said with a smile.

"Um...hi! I'm Mary Sue, but everyone calls me Mary," Mary Sue said shyly.

"So you're interested in joining Fairy Tail, huh? Where would you like your guild mark?"

"On my left shoulder."

"Any particular color?" Mirajane asked, pulling out a stamp.

"Yes. Black." Like his hair, she thought to herself.

The stamp was placed against her shoulder, and when it was pulled back, there was her guild mark. Perfect. A carbon copy of his hair color.

Mary Sue turned to show Gray, but he was gone. She scanned the guild for him, until she saw him. With a pretty blue haired girl clinging to his arm.

Her first feeling was anger. How dare that bitch drape herself all over my Gray! Wait, what?

Where did that come from? She turned a very proper shade of tomato, realizing exactly what she was thinking.

Her second feeling was doubt. That's probably his girlfriend. I should have known someone as perfect as he is would end up with such a pretty girl.

Finally, she felt hope. First of all, why the hell am I having such mixed emotions? What am I, pregnant? Oh, wait. No. Impossible. Second of all, maybe there's hope. he doesn't seem that interested in her. Maybe she's just a creepy stalker who's in love with him. Yeah, that's probably it.

She certainly hoped so.
