Chapter 13: Hospital Proposal

Z was being pushed down Mount Sinai Hospital halls. With Odell right beside her an Bryon following behind.

"Baby you're gonna be alright I'm right here beside you", said Odell

Z head swayed back and forth while she tried to look at Odell.

"I'm right here if you need anything", said Bryon stopping and going into the lobby where Bella was sitting with an Ice Pack on her face, and a bandaid on her eyebrow.

"Don't say anything", said Bella

"You know I'm gonna say something", said Bryon

"Well make it quick the sooner I can get back to the hotel the better", replied Bella

"I just wanna know did you learn your lesson!", said Bryon

"What lesson?", said Bella

"That you shouldn't mess with a man that belongs to someone else", said Bryon, "And now Z is in a hospital behind it".

"You blame me for her being in the hospital, no one told her to come in there and Rhonda Rhosey me", said Bella.

"How would you react if you saw someone in an Elevator grinding on your man", said Bryon

"I would cuss her ass out", said Bella

"See that's where you and Z are different, you are all bark and no bite while Z is a little bit of both", said Bryon

"Well I guess my planned worked a little bit", said Bella

"Your plan was to get your ass whooped", said Bryon

"No just to get under Z's skin", said Bella

"And that cost you your ass", said Bryon

"Whatever", said Bella

"Well I'm gonna go to check on Z, try not to get another Leila Ali ass whooping", said Bryon

"I said Rhonda Rhousey", said Bella

"Well Z is BLACK", said Bryon walking out laughing.

Bella rolled her eyes grabbed a magazine and started reading.

Back in the room Z had been giving some pain medicine and was awake and now alert and they had ran some test on her.

"Hey baby", said Odell, "How are you feeling?"

"Don't hey baby me" Z replied trying to sit up

"Let me help you", said Odell getting up to help Z

"No just sit there I can do it myself", said Z

"Baby why are you acting like this", said Odell standing up.

"Why am I acting like this, WHY AM I ACTING LIKE THIS", Z said with tears forming in her eyes, "Probably because I saw my man letting another woman grind on him".

"I didn't LET her do anything", said Odell

"Ok so you couldn't move her scrawny ass", replied Z

"I didn't want to put my hands on a woman", said Odell

"You're a liar", Z

A familiar face poked their head in the door, "He's not lying she just told me that something had came over her and she regrets pushing up on him", said Bryon

Odell took Z by the hand, "Now will you believe me".

"I want to believe you but how can I trust you won't do this again", said Z

"1. It never happened & 2. Would I have brought this ring if I didn't want to be with you for the rest of my life", said Odell

Odell pulled out a 13 karat ring. Z and Bryon mouth dropped open and Bryon put his hand over his heart.

"Odell what are doing?", said Zendaya

"Z you make me the happiest man in my life and when I'm with you I never think of hard times or the struggles I have been through, and If I can have your heart I will never hurt it, So with that being said, Will you Marry Me?", said Odell trying to hold back tears

"I - -", said Zendaya getting cut off by the doctor.

"Well your test results came back and You & The Baby are gonna be fine, However you're a little shaken up so once you blood pressure goes down you will be able to leave", Z gave him a reassuring smile, "Congrats on your pregnancy".

Z & O both spoke at the same time, "Thanks".

After the doctor left Bryon eagerly walked back over to the bed, "Okay back to where we were".

"So will you Marry Me?", said Odell

Z looked at Odell, the ring, Bryon, then back to Odell, "Yes I will marry you", said Z crying.

Odell slipped the ring on Z's finger. Then stood up and kissed her.

"Oh my god, Boss I will get right on planning the Wedding", said Bryon turning about to walk out the door.

"Bryonnnn, I have a baby baking right now, and I don't want to be pregnant in my wedding dress so how about we plan the Gender Reveal and The Baby Shower first, And after about 9 months, we plan the wedding", Z said

"Right, Okay I'll get right on it boss", said Bryon

"Bryonnn, I don't even know what I'm having and I'm not even showing", said Z

"How about you take our keycard and go get our luggage", Odell said handing him the hotel keycard.

"Right again, Okay then see you guys later", said Bryon about to turn and walk out.

"Bryonnnn- -", said Z getting cut off by Bryon

"No your pregnancy has nothing to do with grabbing your luggage I'm actually gonna do this one", said Bryon really fast.

"I was just gonna say thank you for everything", said Z

"Oh you're welcome", said Bryon

After Bryon left Z looked over to Odell smiled and held his hand. They watched TV until the Doctor came in with the dismissal papers.

"Okay Mr. & Mr's. Beckham", said The doctor, "I was watching from the outside it brought me to tears".

"Well not yet, I'm gonna drop this baby before I pick up his a last name", said Z laughing.

Odell handed the doctor the sign off papers then helped Z out of bed and into a wheel chair where he rolled her out the building.
