Marinette walked towards the restaurant where her date with El was going to be, thinking if this was really what she wanted or not, and to be honest she would've liked to stay at home and talk with Chat. She got to the restaurant door and saw El sitting at a table.

Geez.. could I have been more late?

Opening the door, she saw a flash of black behind her from the reflection of the glass door. She turned her head to see Chat. "Hey there princess. Would do this cat a favor and go watch a movie with him?"

Marinette looked back into the restaurant where El wasn't there anymore, he might've just gone home  she felt bad for not going in and decided to do the right thing. "Actually I'm on a date so maybe another time, ok?"

"Hm I don't see any guy in there that's alone. Or fit for my princess." Marinette looked around, walking into the restaurant to only see the bill on the table her mind came to the conclusion El just left and turned back to Chat, walking outside to the stray.

"I guess he went home." She shrugged as the guilt was rising to her. She knew El left because she was late and didn't show up. But Marinette chose to shake it off. Chat lifted her up like a bride and brought her to the bakery.

They went inside the dimly lit room and Marinette took of her shoes and flipped the light switch As Chat made himself comfortable on the bed and Marinette soon came to join him. He pulled Marinette closer so she was on top of him, half her body on his chest and the other half on the bed, and put the computer on his lap as they picked a movie and put it in.

Chat held Marinette closer to him, she could feel the heat rising to her cheeks as she skunk into Chats chest. A few hours later, the movie cut and Mari was sound asleep on Chat. He picked her up and gently moved out from under her, putting her back down, allowing her to get settled into the warm blankets.

He ran his hand over her bangs, brushing them to the side as he kissed her on her forehead. Soon as he left, Chat turned back to the room. Leaving a smile, and no trace he was ever there.

The next day at school Adrien couldn't wait any longer before searching for Marinette. He ran all over the school trying to find the bluenette, but she wasn't there. He decided to go to class.

She's just late. She's always late.

As class had settled in, there was still no sign of Marinette. Adrien started to get worried. He had asked Alya and she didn't even know where Marinette was. Marinette always texted Alya if she wasn't coming to school. He waited as he watched the door and clock, switching between the two.

Five minutes in, he checked the door.

Ten minutes in, he checked again.

Fifteen, once again.

Twenty, another time.

"Can I go to the bathroom?!" Adrien shot out of his chair, practically screaming the words. Almost tripping, he ran to a closet. "Plagg, Claws Out!" Chat jumped around Paris, until he reached his destination.

He flung open the trapdoor to Marinettes room, "Princess?! Princess where are you?!" He received no response in the dark room. All the lights were off, the only source of light being the light that shown through the open trapdoor.

Reaching for the light switch, the lights came on. Her room was a mess, which it rarely never was. Papers thrown about, pencils, cloth, books, looked like they have been threw for protection, as they were only on one side of the room, with marks on the wall.

On the ground there was a crumpled piece of paper, Chat picked it up and read it, his eyes filling again with rage. He threw it back down, and jumped out the door to a nearby wear house

~~~
"Put me down!" Marinette got carried all over town, getting dropped hard to the ground. "Not until the prince comes to save the day. Hawk Moth has a surprise for him." She fought to get out of the ropes he had tied her up in, crying in the pain he had caused her, tearing the shreds of her clothes and making her back bleed from his claws.
She screamed as he walked closer to her, almost begging for her life. Hawk Moth didn't need her so he could whatever he pleased with Marinette, of course that was to kill her as she screamed once more and he blasted her with his baton.
Chat threw down the crumpled paper and ran to the where house. The words written on the paper circling his mind, Your fate as been sealed in another half of yourself, Noir.
He couldn't help but know he was close to his princess, he could feel it. He jumped in and broke the window, only to hear a blood curdling scream and see his princess fall to the ground. "Marinette!" He was blocked by a tall broad figure, brown hair and gray eyes. Familiar gray eyes but soon the gray turned and intertwined with a purple. He recognized the figure in front of him, "El?"
The villain shot at him again, aiming to kill when an outline of a purple butterfly appeared on his face. He sighed, apparently irritated from his commands from Hawk Moth, "I cant kill you pussy cat.. but I will do damage."
"El! Stop this!" Chat called to the boy, clearly doing nothing. "I'm not El.." he started to laugh, baton in hand, "The kitty cat wants to play huh? Well.. let's see a show." He kept laughing, holding up his hand, claws beaming out. "Let's have us a cat fight." He continued before taking a swipe at Chat.
They continued like this, swiping at each other, over and over. Blanc grabbed Noir by the neck, lifting him up until it was hard for him to breathe. "Hm.. boss doesn't want you dead.. that doesn't mean I can't have some fun." Blanc dug his hand into Noirs back, leaving the stray to let out a cry for help, screaming with all his might as blood led down his back, trickling down to the floor.
Black. That's what she saw. She didn't have anyone to save her, not this time. He wasn't there. He didn't make it in time, did she know he was there? That he was fighting for her? That he was fighting the other half of him? He was fighting the part of him that he never thought could come alive. His bitterness, his sadness, the empty hole that wasn't getting filled. Siding with the part she knew he could face. Raging fire, the evil within him turning and twisting. She knew she wasn't dead. And he knew he was under control. But she could save him and he had to stick with her til the end. He trusted his lady but it was dark it was dark and he felt fear. Fear has never felt as his alter ego. Now, now he had something to fear. And he realized fear can fall. Fear can leave. It always leaves, whether you beat it, or let it stay. Fear leaves on its own and everyone can be the strongest they want to be when they have nothing left.
"Chat Blanc, Grab his miraculous!" Chat Noir leaped from roof to roof, dodging Whites attacks. This villain was the same as him. Different in personality, but same in looks, besides the color of course. White versus Black. Yin versus Yang. The fight of the century and yet no bug to help. A helpless stray with nothing to lose and he looked back. He looked at his princess, lying there, lifeless. She was breathing, that much he knew. But his hesitation cost him and Blanc struck, knocking Chat back, making his back hit the wall.
Stuck in a mindless loop from getting hit by Blanc. Marinette didn't know what was happening, she couldn't see anything but black. That's what she saw. She didn't have anyone to save her, or that's what she thought. She had lost all hope. Almost as if she were isolated from everyone. In complete solitude, no one or no thing could help her. She couldn't find Tikki. She couldn't see Chat. Did she know that he was fighting for her? He was fighting his other half? The opposite of him.. of black?
"Stand still you stupid cat!" Noir bounced off wall and onto another one, teasing Blanc while waiting for his lady. "You're a cat too!" Noir stopped in his tracks as he saw the outline of a purple butterfly, Blanc muttering something as a smile formed on his face, looking up to the sky and letting a cackle burst out of his lungs. His laugh had the screams of himself, almost reaching out to Chat, calling for his help. Chat Blanc glared at Noir, staring into his soul. Purple eyes meeting green. "It's time kitty cat." Blanc faced his baton towards the fallen princess and pressed a button. A large ray of green mixed with black, launched at Marinette. "No!" Noir jumped up and landed in front of Marinette, the blast hitting him as Blanc just smirked.
"It's going as planned, Hawk Moth. And soon people will have to isolate themselves."
"Blanc.. bring him back." Blanc took his claws out of Noirs back and grabbed him once again, dragging him mercilessly across the floor, Chat coughing out blood as he blacked out.
