Felt bad so here's a chapter

I reached immediately for my glitter charm to insert it into my glitter pact if needed to be. Rascal sat up, rubbing his head slightly and looking around. His eyes stopped on me.

"Hang on, I'm not gonna attack!" Rascal informed.

"How do I know this?" I frowned, staying in my position.

"I'm hurt, why would I try?"

After hearing he was hurt, my caring side kicked in.

"Where does it hurt?" I asked, softly, putting my glitter charm and glitter pact back.

"Just my head.."

"Maybe a concussion," I muttered as I kneeled in front of him, pulling out a flashlight to test his eyes.

He followed the light so he didn't have a concussion.

"You probably just hit it really bad," I stood up, reaching my hand down to help the jester, "come on, I'll help you to get that check out."

We began to walk to a hospital.

"What about school?" Rascal asked.

"Someone's safety is more important," I informed.

"I heard about your money problem.."

I looked at him, "how?"

"I was... watching you.."

I thought it was a bit weird, but kept my mind focused on what needed to be done.

"You don't talk much, do you?" Rascal asked.

"Not usually," I replied.

"I just wanted to say, I can help you with that problem," Rascal informed, "but of course, I'll need something in return."

"How can you help?" I questioned, unamused if this was a joke.

"I'm magical, Chloe.." He answered. Duh.

"And if I agree, what do you want?"

"For you to not attack us when we attack.."

I couldn't possibly do that. That would be betraying my friends and I can't do that. But if we don't get money, my family and I would end up on the streets.

Rascal held his hand on to make the deal, but I myself didn't know what to do. I could tell he was getting impatient.

I looked up at the jester, "fine, I'll do it!" and reached forward to grasp his hand.
