Best Frenemies (Rascal X Chloe Glitter Force) (Slowly Updating)

Chapter 5

"Chloe!" Emily's pitchy voice called out through the air.

Chloe glanced over and saw the pink haired girl rushing over to her friend. Originally, Chloe was just going to greet her friend, but then she remembered. She slowly began to panic as Emily stopped in front of her. Emily was staring at the ground. 

"I-I can explain," Chloe held up her hands in defense. 

"Did you trip and fall?" Emily asked.

"Huh?" Chloe glanced beside her and saw that Rascal was gone, but the indentation was still there, "O-Oh yeah!"

"Oh, I do that all the time, I hope you're ok!" Emily reached up to feel Chloe's head.

"Yeah, I'm ok," Chloe nodded. 

"Well, we should head to class," Emily informed.

"Yeah, let's go," Chloe walked off with Emily, taking a quick glance back in which Rascal was suddenly there, waving. 

~ Timeskip to after class ~

"Wanna go get something to eat?" Kelsey asked her friends.

"Ooo yeah, but you're paying!" April chuckled as Kelsey groaned.

"Fine!"

Chloe walked a little behind them, thinking about the conversation with the joker as Emily told the other three girls about the fairytale she recently read. 

"What's that?!" Emily yelled.

Chloe looked up as the sky turned purple and was cloudy, Rascal was floating in the air. 

"Rascal," April growled underneath her breath.

"Come on, let's do this!" Emily called to her friends, "transform!" 

Chloe stood around as she watched the four other girls transform into their glitter forms. She knew she couldn't do anything. She needed the help Rascal said he would offer. She felt so guilty. There's just nothing she could do.

"Breeze?" Lily's confused voice asked, "what are you doing?"

Chloe looked down at the ground as she shook, tears slipping down her face. She could hear Rascal chuckling as he knew that this was his victory.

"Im sorry girls," Chloe sighed, "but im not gonna help you."

I know it's really sort, but I'm trying to have them be longer, I just need to get past the boring parts! And its taking me forever to update because I've been focusing on updating books on other accounts.
