Chapter 6

"I think thats enough for today," Rascal smirked, staring down at the 4 girls on the floor and the blue haired friend standing behind them.

They each groaned in pain, as Emily attempted to push herself up, but failed.

"And I thought the glitter force was strong," Rascal cackled, "well only one."

He winked towards Chloe who furrowed her eyebrows and frowned.

And with a pop, Rascal disappeared.

"Girls! Are you ok?!" Chloe rushed towards Kelsey and tried to help her up by the arm.

Kelsey ripped her arm away, "don't touch me."

"W-what?" Chloe asked.

"Dont act like you didn't do anything wrong," April hugged Lily who was sobbing into the green haired girl.

"But.. you guys don't understand.."

"Oh, I think we understand," Kelsey grumbled before walking away with Lily and April.

"Emily..." she turned to the pink haired girl who had tears in eyes, refusing to let them flow.

Emily turned away and followed the other 3. Chloe's heart broke. She didn't want to do what she did, but she had to do whatevers possible to help her family.

"Maybe if I get a job and raise enough money, I don't need to help those bad guys," Chloe muttered before whipping around to find herself a job.

Rascal chuckled, "you'll lose hope soon, Chloe."

Chloe threw herself on her bed and sighed, "im so tired."

She had looked around all day, but had no luck.

"I cant give up, ill look again tomorrow. I'll even skip school if I have to."

She felt her eyes drop and she fell asleep.

The next day, Chloe woke up early and got ready in her school uniform.

"Have a good day, sweetie!" Her mom called, "and don't worry about us. You just make sure and get good grades."

"Yes mom!" She called back, 'sorry that I have to disobey you.'

She looked around to make sure the coast was clear and turned the opposite way from school.

"Dang it," she sighed, walking out of the store, "I cant do this... no stop! Don't think that way, Chloe. You'll get a job."

"You sound insane talking to yourself like that."

She snapped around and saw the joker.

"Rascal."

"I heard you're in quite the predicament," Rascal informed.

"I dont need your help."

"I can get you a job."

"I dont want to make any more deals," Chloe grumbled.

"No deals this time."

"What? Why?" She asked, getting suspicious.

"I just want to help you."

"Why?"

"Because," Rascal laughed, "there's something interesting about you. I like you."
