Liz's original plan was somewhat dangerous after the encounter with Loki. She thought about stealing a car or robbing someone today, but if she gets caught by that so-called god again, he might just do some justice for this world and end her.

Therefore, when she left home, Liz had nowhere to go.

She and several other friends planned to meet downtown, so Liz had a five-hour nap in a subway station.

But as the crowd grew in the station, the hope of sleeping till noon was quickly gone. Liz opened her eyes, stretched, and sat upon the bench.

There were plenty of people watching her as it was strange to see a pretty, doll-like girl sleeping in a subway in this chaotic ghetto. But Liz ignored the stares. She pulled her hair down and tied it up again. Then she picked up her coat, put on her shoes, and prepared to leave this messy place.

Before she had taken a step, she suddenly saw a small, strangely familiar figure, moving through the crowd as if in search of something.

Liz swore under her breath. She found her.

Not daring to linger any longer in the station, Liz lowered her head, half of her face covered by the hood of her hoodie, and shoved her noticeable, fiery red hair into her collar.

Then she took out a mask from the pocket and quickly put it on her face. She pretended to be sick and weak, coughing as she walked with the flow of the crowd. But as she approached the exit, she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Liz sprinted.

"LIZBETH CARLISLE!" The girl behind her yelled and chased her.

Running recklessly out of the station, Liz headed towards downtown, her hood falling and her red hair lashed out on her shoulders, like a ball of flame.

Then she got pulled back by an invisible force.

Liz gave the girl, who was now standing in front of her, a harsh punch, "I hate you people with power!"

The girl dodged deftly with her head on one side and stepped back with a playful smile, "So, what are you up to?"

"Can you just get lost?" Liz asked. "Addison, you think I have to tell you everything I do just because you're the one who put me in that fucking community center?!"

"Did I say that?" The girl, Addison, shrugged and said casually, "my dad's a police officer, but I'm not. Why would he arrest you if you didn't burn the garbage can in front of my house?"

Liz kicked towards the girl, "Just because I burned the garbage can, you're going to put me in the community center as a mugger to clean the toilet?!"

"But you are a thief." Addison dodged the kick,  "and all the other things you've done. If you weren't underage, you'll be sentenced to death. You think they'll still let you sleep in subway stations?"

Addison, who was two years younger than her, attended the same school as her before Liz dropped out at the beginning of the year.

Liz was acutely aware that something was weird about Addison. But as to where, she had no time to think about it.

"Since you're not here to take me back to the community center, stop bothering me." Liz stared at her for a moment, then turned her head and walked away, "also, I've met a lot of people with powers recently. Don't follow me too closely, you'll get in trouble."

"Do I look like I'm afraid of trouble?" Addison tilted her head and smiled sweetly, "I'm not going to mess with them. My dad and grandpa are normal, don't wanna get them involved."
