Wearing our costumes, Alya and I were standing in front of the Dupain-Cheng castle. I was a little nervous and felt like my heart was jumping out of my body.
"Are you sure they won't recognize me? I mean... my hair is blue." My hands got sweaty.
"No way. The people in this kingdom are blind anyway. The only one who could recognize you would be Marinette herself. Don't worry you are save. Besides... you are my guest so it shouldn't be a problem." She smiled at me but just a moment later she was looking behind me.
"What? What are you staring at?" I turned around and saw a golden carriage and the most beautiful woman I ever saw in my life. Marinette was wearing a pastel pink dress with flowers all over it and she was looking like a real Princess. Her hair was a little longer then a couple of years ago and she had some parts of it in a bun while the rest was loose and curled.
"She is so beautiful." I whispered while I was smiling.
Alya smiled as well. "You really love her don't you?" I nodded.
"I love her more then everything else. I would sacrifice myself for her."She sighed. "Come on let's get in there."
I followed her and looked at Marinette again who was looking at me too. But I guess she couldn't recognize me because she immediately looked away when our glances met. "I told ya she wouldn't recognize you." She smiled again. "But I am sure she already saw me and thinks that you are just a friend of me." I had a really sad smile in my face when we entered the palace and everyone looked at us. "Don't you think they are looking forward to see you with Nino? It's maybe a little weird for them to see Alya Cesaire without her Husband." - "oh don't worry Nino is already here. We just have to find him. My husband just don't told me which costume he is wearing. He said that it would be a surprise. But I bet it's the turtle suit again." She laughed. "He always wears the turtle costume on partys like this. Oh yeah there he is! NINO!" Everyone was looking at Alya and me and I instantly turned red. When two beautiful blue eyes looked at me, my breath caught. She was right in front of me looking in my eyes. I smiled as the music started to play again. "May I have this dance, princess?"
