I was with Natasha on our way to pick up Steve, he hasn't really spoken to me since the party, which is really odd. I thought we were working at something. I was snapped out of my thoughts as Natasha pulled up infront of a building and rolled down the window, I couldn't be seen, "Hey boys do you know where the Smithsonian is because I'm here to pick up a fossil." I heard Steve laugh, "Real funny." He said, I opened the door and looked at Steve, his face lit up. That night wasn't for nothing. "Steve." I said with a smile. "Woah did something happen between you two?" The guy behind Steve asked, I looked at him. "Amber, Amber Stark and Capsicle here has places to be." I said patting Steve's shoulder with a smirk, "Sam Wilson. See ya around Cap." He said with a nod. I looked at Steve, "Ahem all reuniting can wait until we get to head quarters." Nat said, I nodded and got back in the car, Steve sat in the front seat. "Can't run everywhere." He said before rolling up his window.
We were on a ship planning out how to complete our mission of saving some S. H. I. E. L. D. Agents who were being held hostage, Stev Nat and I locked gazes and with a nod we all jumped out and Steve took out a few men as Nat and I stood guard and gave the rest of the team a signal. We started walking toward where we needed to be, "How about Karen at the office?" Nat blurted out as she had been talking about Steve's relationships and asking if she could set him up on dates, Steve looked over at me and then back at Nat, "Focus on the engine room and not my love life." Steve said as Nat and I jumped over a railing and found our way to the engine room and we tag teamed subduing everyone, Nat rushed to the room with all the computers and I walked into and stood guard, Steve was heading toward us and in Stve fashion he kicked a dude through the door and looked up at us, "What are you doing?" He asked looking at Nat as she smirked, "Cleaning the hard drive." She said as she finished up as Cap kept rambling about the jeopardy of our mission as the guy held a grenade and took the pin out and threw it before running out, Steve grabbed me by the waist and Nat by the arm and swung us through a window and peeked over at the carnage. Everything became a blur as Steve got Nat and I put and back toward the ship as the hostages were saved and we could head home and this guy yelled after Steve in a foreign language. He understood and charged after him, Steve and this guy fought until he was on the ground. Steve stood up and grabbed me and rushed to the quinjet.
~Head Quarters~ All three of us got out of the car and started to walk in, I looked over at Nat and she gave me a nod of approval, "Steve. Wait." I said walking up at him, "What is it Amber?" He asked as I looked at him, "I got the cold treatment for two years now, so please right here right now. Know that, that mission is deadly and all of them are, so when you survive promise me you'll come back for me and know I'll be waiting for you." I said watching his eyes, "Amber." Steve said sounding like he was trying to deny me, "Nevermind, just do what you do best Cap, saving the world." I said nodding as I teared up and went to walk away but I felt someone grab my arm, I turned to see Nat, she wrapped her arms around me and she whispered in my ear, "Just wait he'll be begging to show you all of his love." I sighed trying to let my mind fall away from it but instead I just walked to my room, same decorations but new ideas. I sat on my bed and just thought of how the past two years has been crazy.
I heard a knock on my open door, I looked up to see Steve suited up I must have been sitting there for a while, "Amber suit up." He said, I nodded and walked over to my suit and looked at him as he stepped in and closed the door, I'm smart so I changed infront of him.

I turned and saw Steve sitting with his head in his hands, "I really did screw everything up." He said softly, I walked over and put my hand on his shoulder and shook my head, "You couldn't do that if you tried, not matter what I'll always love you." I said softly before he stood up and looked down at me, "You just said you love me." He said with a smirk as I nodded blushing slightly. He picked me up and hugged me, I wrapped my arms around his neck crying into his shoulder, "You okay Sarg?" He asked putting me down and wiping my tears, "Never better Cap." I said smiling as I looked up at him, "Amber, when we survive, I'll be here waiting to see where this goes." He said softly. I nodded and smiled brighter, "Before we go risk our lives I have a request." I stated as I opened the door and grabbed a couple guns and holstered them. "What is it?" Steve asked with a worried look and concerned dripping from his voice, "Kiss me." I said looking him in the eye, "Really?" He asked like a little boy on Christmas, I smiled and nodded he pulled me close and kissed me hard and passionately. After a minute we pulled away and I gave him a quick hug before running out to the car where Natasha was waiting, "Took you love birds long enough." She said with a smirk as I rolled my eyes and blushed I gleamed against the car and sighed, I looked down, "I won't be with you guys for the rest of the mission, I have to work behind the scenes so today was the last thing I'd be able to do." I said softly as I heard Steve gasp as he put his hand on my shoulder as if looking into my soul, "I'll keep in touch I promise." He said I laughed slightly and nodded. He nodded and smiled at me, "See you soon." I said before walking back inside
