The Fruit of our Love (Sequel to YaMaoL)

Chapter Five

          It's a beautiful day for everyone since summer had come back, yet not for Izaya.  As usual, hes wearing his black long-sleeve and walking around the beach. His son and his lover had requested that they should go and have fun, specially that today is Shizuo's off. He loves seeing his family enjoy the break but of course, hes suffering from the heat. It's not really a deal, he just complains a lot.

        "mooommmmiieeeeee!!!!" yelled Tsugaru as he waves from a far, he's building a 'sand castle' but Izaya sees nothing but a small hill with some crabs along with it. His loudliness gathered attentions from other beach goers but its not a negative attention, they're just saying that his squeal is so cute or his cheeks are like mochi.  As he approached his son and his lover, who is also building a sand castle, his feet sunk on the wet sand.  He found it calming to do so. 

          "what's up buddy?" asked Izaya as he sat on the sand besides his son. He had made him wear a hat and of  course, tons of sunscreen. The last time that they went on the beach, his son was literally burnt. Obviously, the little boy doesn't care since he enjoyed it but Izaya almost beat Shizuo to death, knowing that he didn't apply any sunscreen on him even tho he was told to. 

          "lookie! I'm making a castle" Tsugaru said sweetly which put a small smile on Izaya's face. "I could see that, you're doing so good baby boy" he said.  The others had also joined them, such as Shinra, Celty, Masaomi, Mikado, Walker, Anri and even Tom. "It's a rare sight, seeing Izaya this soft while his son is present" said Walker which made Shinra and the rest laugh in agreement. "shut it" Izaya said before glaring at his lover who is also laughing. "what? they're laughing too" Shizuo said which made Izaya roll his eyes. 

          "hey! don't be mean to my mommy" Tsugaru said before using the plastic shovel as a sword as if he's threatening them. 'he's so cute' Anri was thinking that the whole time since she just kept on staring at the boy who's still moving the shovel back and fort. Shizuo's laying on the sand and as he moved, he had accidentally crushed his son's sand castle, he didn't noticed it yet. When the child did noticed what happened to his sand castle, he began sobbing and then crying loudly. he rushed to Izaya to get a hug and he kept saying that his sand castle is ruined. Izaya is oc course, glaring at Shizuo who still didnt noticed that he is the one who ruined it. 

           When Shizuo heard his son's cries, he turned around to see what's wrong but he only got a death glare from Izaya. "what?" he asked "you ruined his sand castle" he said before giving him a kick on his calves. "aww, Tsu, I'm sorry" he said before Taking him from Izaya. The boy just kept on kickinh him and as well as crying.  It went on until they got home, Tsugaru never recovered from his dad ruining his sand castle and of course, hes very salty about it too

          Shizuo of course, has to give up one of his puddings to compensate with his son which the boy had gladly accepted. "you're still mean" he said "what? i gave you my pudding already, and I'm still mean?" Shizuo said, only to earn a small laugh from both the raven and their beloved son.
