It was a peaceful Tuesday morning. I woke up on my bed with my usual pajamas while mumbling sleepily. I forced myself to stand up so I could stay conscious. I walked slowly in the direction of my kitchen and brewed some coffee to energize my body a bit. I yawned and took my phone and saw nothing interesting in particular. So I called my friend, Jessica Starling, who is a popular DIVA in many countries. She is the descendant of the "Royal Starling" family that had existed for many generations. Not even one minute passed and she answered my called almost immediately.
"Rene honey, what are you doing right know until you called me this early in the morning?"
"I told you many times Jess, it's not Rene it's Irene" I snapped back at her.
Yes, my name is Irene, Irene Rosendähl. I am one of the daughters of the Rosendähl family, which is quite known throughout the city. I have typical black hair with sky-blue eyes and fair light skin. Many people praised me when I was a little child. But then my father killed someone of the royal "Bruhtallum Family" which is the family that runs basically the capital city on the northern region. My father killed the member of the family when that member assaulted my mother with a knife. My father caught the man and killed him, mercilessly.
Ever since that day, citizens looked at the "Rosendähl Family" with fear, disgust, and hatred. All the respect the "Rosendähl Family" once had has vanished without leaving a single trace behind.
But for some reason Jessica and my other friends didn't look at me with that kind of perspective. Instead they accepted me with all I had, and welcomed me with open hands. Therefore, I am truly grateful to them.
"Hey Rene honey, is anything wrong?" Jessica asked worriedly.
I snapped back to reality and replied, "Nothing's wrong Jess. You don't to be so worried like that.
"I'm sorry dear, but you sound so glum these days." Jessica said in a mother-like tone.
"Hey, how about coming with me to the ball tomorrow? They said even the King, Queen, and the Prince, and the princess will attend the ball! Jessica told me excitedly.
"Is it okay for someone like me to go? A failure of a royalty?" I said.
"Rene dear, remember this. Even if no one would support you, I will always be there to back you up!" Jessica said to me in a cheerful way.
"But Jess."
"Yes dear?'
"Have you forgotten that I don't have any suitable dress for the occasion?" I said to her in a polite manner.
"Oh don't worry about the little things honey! EVERYTHING'S taken care off. So why don't you relax and drink a cup of coffee? And of course I'll invite Eileen, Remy, Aubrey, and the other girls too." She said to me as an act of calming me down.
"Bye Jess"
Bye honey"
. . .
I was excited. I screamed at the top of my lungs until my cat marshmallow ran off someplace else, afraid. I couldn't wait to see my other friends. After all, it has been quite a long time since we interacted with each other. Do they remember me? I don't know. I hope they do though. So I walked to the bathing section of my mansion and took my bath towel and stripped. I left my bath towel outside, not wanting it to get wet. I bathed for quite a long time like 30 minutes or so. After I dried myself, I took the bath towel and wrapped myself with it, and took the hairdryer to dry my hair, which was soaking wet.
I went out with my bath towel, brushed my teeth and wore my black shirt and my chocolate skirt and exited the mansion. Of course I fed my cat marshmallow before I left. I walked towards Jessica's place to meet up for a discussion for the ball.
