Callies pov:

A smile was plastered on my face as I walked towards no mans land.

Luke mind linked me saying everyone's here, waiting for my arrival.

Slowly, cautiously, yet surely, I walked. No one can ruin my day.

I worked for this day for six months, it seemed to fly by like it was nothing, but I've been through thick and thin and I have got to say, I'm ready.

Remembering my first encounter with a pack, I was so scared, I didn't know what to say, I couldn't believe I was meeting with a couple of people.

Well technically they were about 1000 people but I'm meeting up with higher ranked people.

I may be nervous, but I can feel the difference.

Truly, I feel like I'm a different person.

I finally arrive at my destination and look around.

Everyone's head snaps to look at me, all eyes were on me.

I hope I don't fall... that would be hilarious but I would rather keep this whole thing serious.

I started walking towards the middle, as I walked between all the people, all the supernatural beings, they would open their way for me and give me a pathway just for myself

I smiled at people and walked in front.

I saw a mess of hair and I knew who it belonged too.

"Xavier!" I yelled.

He pushed past people and became visible to my eye sight.

"Xavier," I smiled.

He ran towards me and hugged me.

I hugged him back and he picked me up and spun me around.

He put me down on the ground and laid his head on my shoulder.

He started inhaling my scent.

"I missed you so much," he whispered to my neck.

I kissed his cheeks and smiled at him.

He brought his head up and suddenly froze.

"Callie?"

"Um?"

He sniffed again, "why do you smell differently?"

"I don't smell differently."

"You do smell differently," he growled.

"Calm down."

His canines came out and he started growling, "who touched my mate!?"

He started looking around ready to attack.

Everyone looked like they were ready to fight as well, if not Xavier then their rivals.

"Xavier please calm down," I whispered.

"I can't calm down," he growled yet again.

I held his face and forced him to look at me.

"Xavier you know I love you, and I care about you. If you do this I would actually leave for good and you won't see me ever again."
