Chapter Thirty

I was immediately greeted in my dad's arms. They never felt so warm and protective. I felt happy. He held my wolf in his arms and I was snuggling up to him. "I thought you would hate me." I whispered.

"I could never hate you Darren, this was bound to happen. The first moon you can't control your wolf, but you get used to it. As long as you want to be in control, you can do anything you want." I looked up at him with adoration, this was my dad. The one who would never leave me even if I threatened to kill him and his mate.

Darren you came back to your senses.

I turned around and just cuddled against Jamie. I missed you. I couldn't say anything else but be happy that I still had my best friend. Even though I put him through hell. He was still here.

We reunited and at this point all I wanted to do was forget about everything. Absolutely everything that had happened, but I couldn't just ignore what I had done. To that Alpha that was trying to protect his pack. The pack that cried for the loss of their Alpha, their family. Everything was a mess and I couldn't do anything about it because the damage had already been done. All there was left to do is face what I had done, comfort the people I had hurt and hope they forgive me.

"You understand now." I nodded still hugging him. I sighed contently being surrounded by them all, I shifted and dad gave me his big jacket to keep me covered.

"You could have told me.. I didn't know what had happened. I woke up and I had to beg for my wolf to let me know. He showed me everything... I killed somebody and I couldn't control it. I just wish.. There was something that I could do.. And my wolf is telling me to stay here and wait for Luca... I don't know what to do."

"You do what you think is right. It's all up to you. Not your wolf nor Luca. You have a mind of your own and you should use it. But at the end of the day, Luca only will ever be your mate. He made mistakes but that's what happens in a relationship."

"But he took advantage of me in my out of state of mind."

"Mates don't take advantage of you.. Never. Luca thought that you wanted him and he has held himself back for so long that he went along with it. I am sure he wouldn't have done it if he knew you didn't approve." dad explained. "He just loves you so much."

"I understand, it's just hard for me to understand everything."

Footsteps were heard and vampires were running up the stares. They began picking a fight with the wolves my dad took along for back up. "Leave or I will tell Luca that you went against my wishes." I warned, knowing Luca would do anything for me at this point, especially since he thought I was still made at him.

They looked at me suspiciously before backing away, one more stare and they were off. Most likely to contact Luca to see if I was telling the truth.

"We have to make everything right because wolves are plotting against you for killing their Alpha, mostly because they are afraid for what you might do to their pups." I sighed, this was so frustrating. Why did I have to be weak? "Everything will be okay as long as you release them from the hold you have on them. Call off the guards who are guarding the border of the territory.
