She gets laughed at for being night
They make fun of her for not being day
Push, shove, lie, anything to make her cry
It's unfair, not right
So cruel, I say
Laugh, poke, taunt, anything that'll haunt
Little girl, night has stars
Little girl, day only has clouds
Stars shine
Clouds are just there
Stars can align
Clouds? Who cares
Beauty is the night
Who cares about day?
It may not be right
But soon you'll have your way
Soon you'll be a star
Soon they'll realize the wrong
You'll be going far
They'll fail to be strong
She gets laughed at for being night
They make fun of her for not being day
Push, shove, lie, anything to make her cry
It's unfair, not right
So cruel, I say
Laugh, poke, taunt, anything that'll haunt
Little girl, night has stars
Little girl, day only has clouds
Stars shine
Clouds are just there
Stars can align
Clouds? Who cares
Beauty is the night
Who cares about day?
(Not intended to insult daytime. Just about having more confidence and forgetting about who bothers you. In the end, they're not worth it. Thanks for reading!)
