"Why are we at the mall?" Mikey asked as his father pulled into a parking space. Phil didn't answer as he turned off the car and opened his door to get out. Dan and Mikey followed his action, shutting their doors at the same time causing them to laugh.

Phil lead them into one of the stores before looking at the two. "We need to get you two clothes and Mikey stuff for his room." Dan's eyes widened. No, he can not do this to me. I told him not to make me go shopping. Dan thought to himself. He glared at the older only to get a smirk in return. The kids eyes widened. "Really?" His father laughed.

A few hours of shopping later, the three were sat at the food court arguing about what they should have for lunch.

"Pizza."

"No, Chinese."

"Pizza"

"Chi-"

"Will you two stop acting like children." Michael said looking at the two adults who looked at him. Dan huffed as he crossed his arms. "I'm not a child." He muttered and immediately Phil knew he was in little space. He reached under the table and gripped the littles upper thigh causing him to yelp.

"Are you okay?" Michael Dan blushed as he nodded. Phil let go and stood up. "I'm going to get pizza, I'll be back."

Dan and Mikey sat in silence. His eyes were on the table where the kids eyes were ok him.

Micheal couldn't help but notice Dan's mood change within seconds. He didn't understand how he became someone different so quickly.

"No, you two stay out here." Phil said pointing to a bench that sat in front of the store they were standing in front of. "Why can't we go in?" Mikey pouted. The other smirked slightly, he knew why Phil didn't want them going in.

His father sighed as he took out his wallet. The two watched as he pulled out a credit card and handed it to Dan. Who just looked at it. "Here, while I'm in here... you two can walk around." Dan shook his head before he pushed Phil hand away. The older rolled his eyes as he groaned. "Fine," he then leaned forward so he was close to Dan's ear, "if you don't take this you will be punished later, understand?" When he pulled away Dan's face was crimson.

"Okay," he whispered as he took the card that Phil was holding. "Good, I'll just find you both when I'm done in here." He then turned around and entered the store.

"How come you didn't want to take the card from my Dad?" Mikey asked looking at Dan. He groaned at the question, "because I don't want to spend his money." He told him as they walked into a store. The younger scrunched his eye brows together. "But he gave you permission to."

Dan looked at him before bending down to the others height. "I know he did, but I don't want him to think I'm with him for his money." Mikey tilted his head. He was confused as to why Dan would think that. "Why would Dad think that if he told you to do it." Dan stood up. "You wouldn't understand." He said dropping the topic.

An two hours and a half later the three where home. They had an hour before they had to go to Dan's parents house.

"Dad?" Phil looked up from his work as Mikey walked over to him. "What can I do for you?" He questioned as he sat his pen down and as Mikey sat down on a stool.

"Do you think that Dan is dating you for your money?" Phil was shocked by his question. He leaned forward. "Of course not, where did that come from?" The other started playing with his sleeve making his father smile slightly. Mikey got the habit from his Mom and it reminded Phil of her.

"Dan didn't want to take the card because he thought you would think that." Phil's heart broke. He thought that they already sorted that out.

11 thousand reads guy, you don't know how happy that number makes me. Hell, I was happy when this got to fifty.

I never thought this book would go far, and I'm not just saying that; I really didn't. No one wants to read a shitty fanfic that has so many mistakes.

Yet, here we are, not even a year into this and it's my most read book.

So, thank you for your support.
