Melvin's P. O. V
Katy's family, Derek and I have been in hospital for four week now. Since she passed out she's been in a coma and the doctor said that they're is a 69% chance that she will wake up.
That's good news so we just have to wait till she wakes up. But freaking four weeks was too much . What if she never wakes up ? Oh god I wouldn't even know how to deal with her death.
But she can also lose her memories. Just the thought of her not knowing who I am hurts me. I was debating whether I should or shouldn't say this but fuck it.
Me, Melvin Clay, I'm in love with Katy Baker. I just hope that she will wake up soon so I can tell her. I'm sitting right beside her right now. Her parents had to take care of some business. While I'm staring at my angel who's peacefully sleeping, my thoughts drift off to Cole. My fist tighten up. This bastard, he's lucky that we had a deal. Either way I would have taken my- My evil thoughts were interrupted by Katy's hand moving underneath my hand.
My heart started beating fast. "Katy, are you awake? Can you hear me? " "Mmm ", she mumbled and said some words wich i couldn't make out.
While trying to sit up but she failed because she moved too fast. "Woah there, chill take it slow. You were passed out for a long time so move slowly. You need some water? " I filled a cup of water before she could answer. And she chugged it all down. After she drank another glass i called the doctor and he checked her and told me that needs to stay for a couple of days just to make sure that she's alright then.
After calling her family and telling them that their daughter woke up I sat down next to my soon to be girlfriend. "So," I scratched the back of my head, "how are u feeling? " . For some reason I was really nervous. Maybe because I haven't talked to her in a long ass time or because I'm about to tell her that I like her.
"You know, I feel amazing after being in a coma for a month. My head is pounding, I'm feeling dizzy I feel like a zombie but everything is great", she said sarcastically with a fake smile. I chuckled, damn I missed her sarcastic way. I wanted to ask her about everything that happened before she went to a coma but I decided to ask her later. Cuz now was definitely not the right time.
Katy's P. O. V
Oh boy did I missed his stupid ass. He kept on asking me if I needed anything and it was getting so annoying but it was cute to be honest. And I'm really thankful that he didn't ask me what happened with Cole. That's the last thing I want to talk about right now.
Even though we seemed to have a great time I felt like he wanted to tell me something or was I just getting paranoid? Damn, is this how I'm supposed to feel after being passed out for a month ? I just brushed it off. "Wow, I forgot how beautiful my phone was", I said while staring at my phone as if I'm seeing such a thing for the first time in my life. I heard a low chuckle "well not as beautiful as u Mrs.Baker", he winked.
Ok something is definitely wrong he's been giving me a lotttt of compliments since I woke up and he's being extremely flirty. I mean I'm not complaining but.... "Ehm, Mel? U ok? " He looked at me confused. "Of course, why are you asking this? " "I don't know, you just seem different? Like you are trying to tell me something. You know that you can talk to me if you want to, right?" Melvin got nervous all of sudden. He scratched the back of his head again, damn he does that a lot when he's nervous. "oh yeah, haha", he laughed nervously. "Melvin ,spill it now. I'm getting impatient ." "Alright so, you know I was really worried when found out that you were kidnapped. I mean we all were but I'm not talking about the others I'm talking about me right now... " He looked at me checking if I'm still listening. I nodded signaling for him to keep on talking. "And I was thinking a lot about you. What you were thinking, what you were doing, if you missed me and I caught myself thinking way too much about you and I-I... " I was so confused, can he just tell me what's going on?!
"You know what? I'm not good at telling people the way I feel so I'll just show u" He started leaning in and... "Oh thank the lord, baby you are awake ",my mom screamed causing us to separate.
