Blaise and Pansy left me in a random classroom. I couldn't keep going, I was too weak from what happened in the healing wing. They didn't want to leave me at first, but I told them I was fine. I was waiting for Tom's signal so I can go see him in the forest.
I take my wand out, aiming it at the door. I hear someone coming. I'm still weak, so I probably wouldn't be able to cause any damage, but I can still try to scare them.
However, a familiar face looks through the crack in the door. "Harry!"
Remus Lupin, one of my old professors, and one of the few oldest and closest friends my parents had. "Are you alright?"
"Hello, Remus...I-I have a question,"
"Yes, anything? What's wrong?"
"Who you join Voldemort...if you knew the truth about what happened with my parents?"
"Harry?" Remus gasps, his face shocked. "What are you talking about? Are you feeling alright?"
"Voldemort didn't kill my parents!" I get up, feeling stronger. "Dumbledore did, and I can prove it!" I grab his head, forcing him to see inside the memories Dumbledore showed me before I killed him.
"Harry- Harry, stop!" He pushes me away, his breath shaking. "That...that,"
"It's the truth!" I yell, feeling everything go cold. "I wouldn't lie about this- Dumbledore only wanted me to live so he could use me as a weapon,"
"I can't..."
"Please, join me...You don't have to hide yourself anymore...nobody will be scared of you-" I whisper.
"He killed Lily and James...He..."
"Please, Remus...You're the only family from before that I have left," I feel the tears coming. "Everyone else left me, they only used me for money and fame..."
"I thought I knew everything...the whole story..." He chuckles, looking at his hands. "First...Sirius isn't guilty, Peter was alive this entire time, and now you're telling me-" His eyes flash yellow, and he looks up at me. "Dumbledore killed your parents...my best friends?"
"I know, it was a lot for me too...I lost control...He's...Dumbledore's dead,"
"What?" Remus' stands up, suddenly. "H-how do you know?"
"I...I uh, killed him?" I force a smile, my anxiety going through the roof. I try to go towards him, but he flinches away.
"What did you....how do I know you're actually Harry? His voice wavers.
"Why don't you trust me?"
"I can't trust anyone anymore....tell me something only Harry would know..." He gasps out.
"You're fourth year, you were getting ready when Sirius came up behind you. He reached over your shoulder to scare you, and you turned around so fast, you ended up having your first kiss with him, and if I do remember, was the best kiss you had," I give him a sad smile, seeing his face flush from embarssement.
"Okay, yeah...only you would bring up something like that,"
I walk over to him, grabbing onto his hand. "There's a way to get him back,"
"There's no getting anyone back from the veil," I see a sad smile form on his face as he hugs me. He's the first person from my life before to actually touch me in a kind, gentle way.
"There is...Tom told me about it," I begin telling him everything that has been going on. Down to every detail. Well, almost every detail. Some things are too...intimate. It feels great to be able to talk to someone outside of the death eater circle. I almost feel normal again.
