Male Reader x Mikasa

Chapter 4

"My grandpa got us bread!" Armin says happily.

"Tell your grandpa 'thank you' for me." You say.

You all eat your bread and start talking about random stuff. You overhear the Military Police say that they wished the titans ate more people so they wouldn't have a shortage on food. You walk up to them pissed.

"What do you want kid?" One of the MP says.

You push him over into the other MP. The MP recovers and charges at you. He throws a punch with his right hand. You catch it with your left, and pull him behind you. Once he is behind you, you sweep his legs causing him to fall over on his back. You kick him in the stomach making him groan in pain.

"One MP down another one to go." You think to yourself. The other MP charges at you but Armin runs in front of you acting as a shield.

"He didn't mean to do that, he just gets out of control sometimes, please forgive him!" Armin says.

The MP chuckles then punches Armin in the gut. Armin falls over. This pisses you off even more and you tackle the guard. You keep punching him in the face until he's knocked out.

You walk over to Armin and ask if he's ok. You help him up then go back to eat the rest of your bread.

"What the hell were you thinking?!" Eren yells.

"They piss me off." You say back.

"That doesn't give you a reason to do what you just did!" Eren says.

"Eren he was just mad and wante-" Mikasa gets cut off.

"WHY DON'T YOU JUST SHUT UP FOR ONCE MIKASA!" Eren yells.

"You asshole!" You yell at Eren as you push him to the floor.

Armin is comforting Mikasa in the back as you and Eren are wrestling each other on the ground.

"Why the hell do you treat Mikasa like that?! All she does is care for you and you treat her like shit!" You yell while punching Eren.

"Not everyone likes her like you do, (y/n)!" Eren yells back.

"What is that even supposed to mean?!" You ask as Eren pushes you off.

Eren starts laughing and says "It's obvious you guys like each other. She's always blushing around you, how are you so oblivious?"

"What?!" You ask.

"Never mind." Eren says.

You guys walk back all bruised and you see Mikasa crying next to Armin.

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine, don't worry about it."

"Are you sure?

"Yeah."

You leave the group and take a walk to chill out. You think about what Eren said to you. You start thinking, asking yourself if Mikasa really does like you. You blush at the fact that Mikasa might like you. You hear footsteps behind you coming closer. They get next to you then you look over to see who it is. It's Mikasa.

"Thank you for helping me back there." Mikasa says.

"No problem."

You guys walk in silence until you ask her something.

"So, uh, back there, Eren said that you like me, that's probably not true right?"

Mikasa blushes then says "Well, ever since we started getting closer, I started li-"

She gets interrupted as Eren and Armin run up to you.

"What were you guys talking about?" Armin teases.

"I think they were talking about how they wanted to get married and start their own family." Eren whispers loudly.

"Shut up Eren." You say while you feel your cheeks heating up.

They start laughing and you ignore them. You guys take a walk around town. You are the first to break the silence.

"I'm joining the scouts." You say.

"What? Why?" Eren asks.

"Remember when your mother was trapped under that beam. We were all trying to help and we were lucky that we got out alive. I just don't want to risk having another innocent citizen die. I want to kill titans and keep everyone safe." You reply.

"Alright then I'm in." Eren says.

"Me too."

"Me three."

"No, you guys can't come. I can't risk losing you guys either." You say.

"We're family now, wherever you go, we go." Armin says.

"Yeah but I think (y/n) and Mikasa want to start a new family." Eren says.

"Next time you say something like that I promise I will snap your arm in half." You say to Eren.

Eren shuts quiet and you see Mikasa blushing.

"I mean, I do like Mikasa, but I'm too young to start a family." You whisper to yourself.

"Huh? What was that?" Eren asks.

"Nothing." You say back.

*Mikasa's P.O.V*

I was about to confess to (y/n) till Eren and Armin showed up. Maybe I'll confess to him another time. Maybe in a couple years, but not right now.

Another short chapter but I guess I do plan on writing until AOT ends, so....
