"Jack, you ready to go?" Millie called out.

"In a few!" Jack shouted out from the bathroom.

   "Where to?"

Jack shrugged, "I don't know. . .I never really imagined you'd end up agreeing."

  Millie rolled her eyes.

"This is why you always plan ahead of time."

"Sorry." Jack said while smiling sheepishly.

"No worries, how about we just wander around for a bit?"

  Jack nodded.

You see, when Millie said 'wander around', she didn't mean 'leave my side and do whatever you want to do while I go crazy looking for you.'

"Kids these days, god. . ." Millie mutter under her breath as she walked rapidly, looking from side to side for any sign of the nephelim.

"Take care of him, they said. It'll be fun, they said– well actually it's not bad, kid can hit a nerve though. I still love him the way he is. Why am I talking to myself?"

Millie stopped and let out heavy breath, "It's okay, it's okay. . .Jack, you son of b-word! Where are you?!"

Millie heard running footsteps and turned around to see Jack running towards her.

"Mom!" He called out, stopping in his tracks as soon as he was a few feet away.

"You won't believe what I found. Look, come with me."

Jack got a hold of her hand and led her to god-knows-where.

"This better be good, Jack. . .Cause if it's not you're getting a good whooping for almost giving me a friggin' heart attack."

Jack turn around and did the same thing he's always seen her do. He rolled his eyes.

"You're exaggerating, you're in your late thirties to be having those kind of things."

"You'll be shocked how many worried moms get them."

"Here we are!"

Millie furrowed her eyebrows, "Um, we're inside a storage facility and in front of a beat up van."

Jack shook his head, "Come look at this."

Millie, still confused, followed Jack to the front of the van.

"What's this?" Millie asked, her eyes focused on whatever new tech Jack came across.

"I have no idea but I thought it looked cool."

"Well, we can't take it. It doesn't belong to
us." Millie said, watching as Jack frowned.

   "But. . ."

   "No but's, let's get moving."

   "Ouh, what does this do?"

Before Millie could even say 'no', Jack had already pressed a button.

Millie let out a heavy sigh and let out a breath.
"Jack. . .why did you just touch that?"

Jack grinned, "because I'm a curious seven year old."

   "You know what? You're gr–"
Millie got cut off by a new voice that startled the two hunters.

"Hey, uh, who are you guys?"

The two turned around, a little surprise to see someone else there too.

"Uh, who are you?" Millie said.

   "Scott Lang."

   "Scott who?"

   "Lang."

"Am I suppose to know who you are?" Millie asked him.

Scott shrugged, "I dunno. . .but I'm also known as Ant-Man."

"Who?" Millie tilted her head to the side.

"You fought with Captain America in Germany!" said Jack.

  Scott nodded, "Yep."

"That means you're the guy who can get huge!"

"Yep, also me." Scott said, a grin on his face.

"I'm a huge fan of you." Jack said, his grin as twice as big as Scott's.

"Hate to break your conversation but we need to get going." Millie told Jack and Scott.

"Awe, but I just started talking to him." Jack whined.

"Don't mind me asking but did any of you press anything on that device?" Scott asked.

Jack and Millie looked at one another, slightly wide-eye.

"On what device? I don't see anything." said Millie.

"That one behind you, cause if you did I am so thankful."

  Millie raised an eyebrow, "What?"

"Yeah. . .I was stuck in the Quantum realm, that device was the one that allowed me to get out."

"Oh. . .well in that case, it was him who went all touchy touchy." Millie motioned to Jack.

   "Thank you, kid."

   "No problem."

"How long have you been stuck there?"
Scott shrugged, "What year are we in?"

   "2023."

"2023?! It's been five years?! What even happened?"

"Half of the world disappeared, including half of our heroes." Millie answered.

"Oh no. . .I need to go somewhere."

   "Want us to stick along?"

   "Actually yes. . ."

"Please don't be here, please please." Millie and Jack watched as Scott looked for a name in the stones. The look in Scott's face made them walked closer to him.

   "You alright?"

Millie followed his gaze and read the name.
Scott Lang.

"Is it here?" Millie asked once she stopped baby in front of a house.

Scott nodded, "I'll be back soon."

Scott got out of the car and walked up the steps. Watching from the window, Millie and Jack noticed a teenage girl opening the door. The two watched as Scott and the girl only looked at each other in disbelief before the girl threw herself to Scott, hugging as if her life depended on it. Once they had let go they had a long talk, Scott turned back and saw Jack and Millie already outside of the car. Each was on a opposite side, playing Uno.

"Okay. . .uh, Cassie, I have to go look for the rest of the Avengers to try and help out with anything I can. I'll be back as soon as I can, okay?"

Cassie only smiled and nodded, "go be Ant-Man, dad."
