I sat in my room watching tv. It was too hot outside and my anti social self didn't want to go over to the beach which was literally just past two fences behind my house. I also didn't want to go to the pool because there's bound to be a swarm of pool mats or floaties that'll make it hard to surface for air. My family was out on a vacation and I was the only one here also our air conditioning broke!!!!
I groaned and went downstairs to the back yard seeing no floaties but there was a few mats, not too bad. I went back inside grabbing my bathing suit and a towel. I changed, put on some sun screen then I went out and jumped in surprise seeing someone jumping trying to open the tall gate. I opened the door seeing Hoseok one of my school friends. He smiled down at me holding his beach bag in front of him. "I wanted to ask if you wanted to join me but it seems you're already ready." He laughed. I sighed and went with him toward the beach. Me and him ran straight into the water once we got there then we played around in the sand seeing who could make a better more attractive mound of sand. (I won by burying him) "HOBI!" Someone screamed and I smiled seeing Yoongi around in a cart, he probably stole it right before they got here. He tripped and the the cart pushed forward zooming down the hill he was walking down. Hoseok ran to him leaving me. I figured Yoongi was gonna get some super scolding so I just left walking along the water for what felt like hours.

I stopped once I saw someone laying on the ground seemingly dead, being the weirdo I am, I walked closer seeing that he didn't have legs but a tail, It was cover in blood and a few scales were missing. He looked so beautiful yet handsome at the same time, he had a glow to him, A LITERAL GLOW! I found a merman?! The local police always tell us to either run or kill them immediately. I never know why, they don't seem bad until you've hurt them. The merman in front of me looked dehydrated so I somehow picked up the heavy creature and took him towards the ocean water I went far enough where the water was up to my shoulders then I loosened my hold on him dunking him in the water but still holding him up enough to see his face through the water. I nearly had a heart attack when his eyes opened staring up at me. I let go and backed away trying to leave the water. He grabbed my leg when only my feet were in the water. "Who are you?" He asked in an angelic voice though he tried to be intimidating. I just froze. "ANSWER ME!" He demanded. "Jessica Kim." I told him and his eyes went wide before he let go and swam off. I just found a merman? Nobody will know either as I won't tell them, I don't want him to be hunted down.
FACEPALMS INTERNALLY don't worry it can get worse, I think
I found the paper after I began writing. I lost the paper a while back and the other parts too so it's not the same.
