"Can we go up there?" Kane pointed to the Eiffel Tower as he held Alexander's hand.
Kane had been in awe since they arrived in Paris. The beautiful architecture, the culture, the food, he was in love with this place. It was a such a romantic place. They would be in Paris for a week, it was already day three. Alexander was buying Kane everything he asked for, he even let Kane call and talk to Anica. It's amazing what a few kisses can get you. Every since their kiss on the airplane, Alexander just couldn't get enough of Kane. Every chance he got, he was kissing on Kane. Kane didn't mind because it allowed him a little bit of freedom, but it did get annoying sometimes.
"After dinner. I'm taking you to a nice restaurant down the street, you'll love it." Alexander pecked Kane's lips for the third time in a row.
"Can ya' stop?" Kane groaned in annoyance.
Alexander pecked Kane's lips one last time before pulling away with a frown.
"I can't love on you?"
"Ya' messin' up my chapstick." Kane pulled out the small tube of cherry flavored chapstick and reapplied it.
As soon as he was done, Alexander wasted no time smashing his lips into his, loving the taste of sweet cherry. He cupped Kane's chin and placed a few more pecks on his lips before pulling away. Kane couldn't lie and say he didn't enjoy this side of Alexander. He wasn't forceful, he wasn't hitting him, he was actually being nice. Although he was being nice, Kane knew not to get used to it. He was still going to escape the first chance he got, no matter how nice Alexander was being.
"Cherry, my favorite flavor." He smirked mischievously.
Kane lightly pushed him, "Stop, Alex."
Alexander's heart fluttered as he watched Kane blush. He liked how comfortable Kane was getting around him. How he'd openly let him kiss him without complaint. Granted, Kane would always want something in return, but it was a nice step forward in their relationship.
"Why didn't Malik and Aiden come?" Kane asked curiously.
"Something came up." Alexander lied.
He couldn't tell Kane that Malik tried to escape which resulted in Aiden giving him a concussion. Kane nodded in understanding as they walked down the streets of Paris. As the walked, Alexander occasionally snuck glances at Kane. He may have had an odd way of showing it, but he truly loved Kane. He would lose his mind if something bad happened to Kane.
"Look, look, look!" Kane shook Alexander's arm excitedly, "It's a botanical garden, can we go inside?"
Alexander chuckled at how excited Kane got about going to look at a garden.
"Come on, dusha." He grabbed Kane's hand as they walked into the garden.
Kane looked at the array of flowers in amazement. Tulips, lilies, lilacs, and his favorite, sunflowers. He leaned down and smelled the sunflower, inhaling the familiar floral scent. It reminded him so much of his mother and father. He would sit in the garden with them hours at a time planting flowers and vegetables. The scent brought back bittersweet memories.
Alexander took out his phone and snapped a picture of Kane unbeknownst to him as he continued to analyze and observe the flowers.
