The truth- Merlin x reader

This is set with Arthur as king and he's allowed magic once again in Camelot. (Only good obviously) (he didn't ever die (duh)) oh and Gwen is still banished in this one!

I ran through the halls laughing as the raven haired boy ran after me.

"You'll never catch me Merlin!" I yelled as I laughed.

I heard his footsteps quickly approaching so I ducked into an alcove. I thought I heard him run by so I let out a breathe I didn't realize I was holding while giggling.

"Told you so" I muttered.

I felt a pair of hands covered my eyes before I could react I heard a man say "oh did you now?" Instantly I blushed.

His voice was so deep it sent shivers down my spine. I spun around and grinned at Merlin.

"I thought I lost you!" I said pushing him gently.

He grinned his usual lopsided grin and had a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I guess I'm just smarter" he teased.

I gasped and placed a hand over my heart in mock hurt. "Merlin I'm offended." I turned away and sniffed acting like I was about to cry. "I thought you cared more about me then to say something like that." I sniffed again.

"No, no, no. My love, I didn't mean it like that. Don't be like that, you know that's not how I meant it." Merlin quickly said wrapping his arms around my waist. He put his head in the crook of my neck and whispered, "please, forgive me?"

I couldn't help but shiver at the feeling of his warm breathe on my neck. Soon followed by his gentle kisses. Peppering up and down my skin. I couldn't tell if he actually thought he had offended me. But I didn't care if this was the reaction I would act this way more.

I turned around and grinned wolfishly. "I don't know I might need some convincing." He looked slightly upset because apparently I actually had tricked him but soon he had a grin to match my own.

"I guess I might just have to, won't I?" He chuckled and place a finger gently under my chin tilting my head upwards. He gently moved his hand to cup my cheek using his other hand to pull me close by my waist.

He hovered over my lips. letting his warm breathe brush over my lips. He was Teasing me he knows how bad I want him to kiss me and he's teasing me!

"Meeerliiinnnn" I groaned.

He chuckled and placed his lips on mine. It started gently and then he brushed his tongue on my bottom lip asking for entrance which I gladly granted him.

We deepened the kiss and it slowly got more and more heated. I could drown in his kisses and still need more. I could be wrapped in his arms and still wish to be closer. Because I knew that we couldn't be public because we still had to tell Arthur.... the king and my brother.

"YYY/NNNNN!!!" My brother yelled. We quickly pulled away from each other panting and our cheeks flushed red.

"I guess The royal prat needs you my princess." He said with a mock bow towards the end. I groaned.
