my opinions on the: k-pop industry (maknae age)

i feel like the k-pop industry has a lot to improve on. if they could change their system a little, it would be great!

first of all, why is the maknae age getting younger every year? this is completely ridiculous like c’mon. it can be as young as 11 years old!? kids as young as 6 are encouraged to audition for the company. look, i’ve wanted to be a baker when i was younger, then i wanted to be an astronaut, a designer then, a psychologist. until now, i’m still not sure what my ambition is. obviously, i’m not including those have set their mind to become a kpop artist since young, i’m extremely proud of them. i’m sure they’re many reasons for them to choose to become as a k-pop idol, but they’re seriously too young and should focus on building character. what about those who thought being an artist is just about singing and dancing or still don’t know what to do as a job? they have to spend a lot of time in training and have to cope with their studies and they have to dedicate their time to be a k-pop idol which is not worth it. as a kid, it is very, very easy to change their minds. it’s not worth to spend your youth in dance rooms and tire the hell out of yourself while you spend your time with your friends. i’m really excited to see what bighit will show us with another boy group next year. nexttttt

topic: k-pop idols dating

so apparently, artists are ‘not allowed’ to date because they have to seem available to their fans. this is just fucking ridiculous. what the fuck is wrong with dating? it’s fucking stupid for the fans to also think they can actually date their idols. in reality though, out of so many girls they probably would not choose you. i mean there are some cases where the artists date their fans but, not to get your hopes up, you’re probably not one of them. let’s face it, would they date a teenage girl who only likes them because of their looks? so, just let idols date whoever they want. damn, they’re humans too, it’s completely normal to date, it’s part of life. plus, it can ‘chase’ away those toxic fans which think that they’re y/n who own their idols. bruh

topic: idol’s freedom

next, i think idols should have more free time to visit their families etc. i feel heartbroken whenever i think that the artists don’t have time to go back to their parent’s as they can only stay in their dorms. why can’t they live with their parents? damn, give them their damn freedom which they deserve. not much to say about this so yeah. in conclusion, give idols freedom. they're humans too.
