With resolve in her eyes, she looks at me, a serious expression overtaking the kind expression before. "What do you mean, 'Black's target'?" She asks me, slamming her fist into the table. I look at Donald, who's currently sitting against a wall with arms crossed. I look down at Fig, his arms up to his chin, his whole body shaking. I placed my right palm onto the top of his skull, and give him a little rub. He looks up at me, his worries seemingly gone. I give him a reassuring smile. "You wanna tell 'em, or should I?" I ask him. He looks over to Chara and Donald. "I-I'll tell them, Blue." He said. I give him another smile. "Then go on ahead, Figment. I know you can do it." I pat him on his back, and allow him to do talking.
Ten minutes later...
"So, this 'Black' guy is destroying Universes, but in order to that, he must rid the Universe of Frisk, who hold a magical "Reset" button that can reset time to a certain point?" Donald asks, one eye closed while the other one is half open. "Yes, that is exactly correct." Fig states. "Yeah, no. I don't believe any of it." Donald takes out his sword and points one of the blades at Fig. "Speak the truth, skeleton, or I'll kill yo-" "Wait!" Donald is interrupted by Chara, which stops me from pulling out one of my blades as well. "I believe it." Chara says firmly, staring directly at Donald. "What? How the hell can you believe this crap?! There's no way a Reset of time can be physically possible!" Donald yell's to her. "I know you think that, but. There's a lot of things I need to explain. The Reset is real, and only a select few remember them. This time, a Reset wasnt necessary, since no War even happened. Sans knows about them to." Chara explained. Donald started for a minute, then sighed as he put away his weapon. "So, what the hell are we supposed to do? Frisk will be fine if he just Resets, right?" Donald states. "In theory, yes." I start to tell him. "However, since this is the so called 'perfect timeline' of this Universe, he will not Reset unless he dies. After all, the only Save Points are Underground. At least that's what Sanz told me." I finish. "So then, what are you gonna do about it? You lost the first time you fought him, so what'll be different this time?" Donald asks. I look at him, and tell him with a grin on my face, "I won't lose this time." After I say that, Fig hops into my hood, and I fly off into the direction Chara told me to head for Frisk and Sans' house.
On our way there, we saw what the world was like when there was no war. People and Monsters were getting along just fine. Makes you wonder why the war even happened. Reminds me of home. I thought to myself, sorrow overtaking my senses. "Hey, Blue!" Hearing Figs' voice snapped me out of my funk. "Yeah, Fig?" I asked him. "What are we going to do once we beat him?" He asks. He had a point. There was nothing to really do after that. "We'll... cross that bridge when we get there." I tell him firmly. He nods, and we were silent the rest of the way to our destination.
We landed at the place that Chara had told us about. The home was just like the one in Snowdin that they lived in. I went up to the door, and knocked. No answer. After a few moments, I knocked again. Still no answer. "Hey, Blue?" Fig spoke up. "Yeah little buddy?" I responded. "There's, uh... no car in the driveway..." he said. I stared at the driveway, and he was right. There was no car. "Oh, well, uh, I guess their not home, hehe. We can wait till they get back. Can't be that long." I told him as I went to sit down on the walkway to the door. I hear Fig sigh, and I see him fly from out of my hood, and sit down on my lap. "You know, Blue..." he looks up at me. "I'm glad we met. Life would never have been the same. I would have lost hope years ago, had we not met. I'm glad to call you..." grows in size and places his head on my chest, closing his eyes, "my friend." He finishes off. I place my hand on his head, and can hear his soft breathing as he falls asleep. Yeah, get some rest, little skittle, you deserve it. Soon, I too close my eyes and rest, my cloak acting as a blanket for me and Fig...
