SCHOOL WAS COMING TO an end meaning she would meet up with the boys by their lockers.
honey made her way out of a.p lit and down the hall to all of there lockers. she was only met with ned.
"hey ned, where's pete?" honey asked, confused on where the boy went.
he looked at her and sighed, she knew she wasn't gonna be happy with what he was about to say since he didn't seem to happy about it either.
"he left early, he said he had to do something and would talk to me about it later" he said, looking down while fiddling with his shoes.
the blonde girl realized that peter had been leaving a lot but decided to disregard it.
this is the first time he's ever left an actual sleepover before it's happened so it upset her that he wouldn't be there to spend time with them.
she loved peter with her whole wellbeing but just didn't understand entirely on what that love was. she had no clue if it was romantically or just as friends.
she always told herself that it was just as friends but she couldn't help but hear that little voice inside her head telling her it wasn't as a friend.
before honey could get lost even more in a trance she decided to try and lighten the mood.
"well we're still gonna have fun, right?" she said while throwing her arm around the boy's shoulder and smiling.
he looked at honey with hope in his eyes a nodded a quick 'yes' before slowly making their way out of the school and down to honey's moms car.
"i wonder what peter has going on to where he needs to leave school early" honey questioned, he never leaves early.
the pair were walking down the steps and down to the sidewalk, ned had found a stone to kick before answering her question to try and blow off some steam.
he was upset as well, considering it was his best friend and he didn't even understand what was going on either.
"i honestly have no idea, but whatever it is it has to be important to where he decided to quit band too" he replied.
honey looked at him with wide eyes, peter absolutely adored band.
"what? he quit?" she said, still in disbelief.
"yeah, odd, i know. i couldn't believe it either" he said, head down looking at his shoes.
before they knew it they were right in front of pepper potts' car.
they both made their way to the backseat before saying a quick hello to honey's mother, pepper.
"hey mrs. p, how are you today?" ned asked, making quick conversation.
"good, where's your guys' triplet?" she asked, jokingly since she considered peter and ned her kids as well.
"ned said he left early to go do something, i'll just call him later to see what's up" honey said, whipping out her phone to see if the boy texted in the process.
nothing appeared as she turned on the screen. she didn't know what she was feeling but it was as if she was sad.
peter had never blew them off and it was odd. she told herself if was just a phase and he would come back around.
"what do you guys want for dinner? i can make something or we can go out to eat" the woman suggested.
honey let ned pick and they were on their way to olive garden.

i like this a lot more than the previous one i wrote before, i think it really fits the story better. this took 4 days to write because i'm trying to perfect it since i want to put something out i really enjoy so thank you for being patient!! i hope you have a good night/day/afternoon
