CHAPTER 4
Autumn's POV
It's been a week since that incident happened. Kapag nagkakasalubong kami ni Ethan parang wala lang.
I'm ignoring him, he's doing the same thing. And I'm glad wala ng sumisita sakin.
About his words? Oh, come on. Small things. You should practice on how to control your emotions. Kahit nasaktan ka, you have to think na hindi, your brain will digest it. I learned it from the past, walang mangyayari kung magpapadala ka lang sa emosiyon mo.
Papunta ako ng gym para sa cheer dance practice. I'm the cheerleader by the way.
Nakita ko naman na nagwa-warm up na sina Diana, Lucy and Kristine. Where's the others? Tsk.
"Hi, Autumn!" bati ni Jonathan na naglalaro ng basketball. I just smiled at him. He's one of my classmates. Inasar naman siya ng mga ka team niya. Like the eff?
Pinuntahan ko naman sina Kristine.
"Where's the other?" tanong ko sa kanila. Napukaw ko naman ang atensiyon nila at huminto sa pagwawarm-up.
"You're here na pala, Chastine told me na malelate siya ng konti dahil may research paper daw silang tinatapos and about Mariel on the way na daw." informed naman ni Lucy. Tumango lang ako.
"I'll just change my clothes." paalam ko. Tinanguan naman nila ako.
Pumunta ako ng locker room dito sa gymnasium at nagbihis.
Pagkalabas ko kumpleto na sila. I clap my hands to caught their attention.
Nagwarm-up lang ako at pagkadating ng instructor namin nagstart na.
For the last, nag tumbling ako sabay split while the others are formed triangular. I'm in the middle since I'm the leader.
Nagpalakpakan naman yung mga nanood. I didn't notice na maraming nanonood sa amin pati mga basketball players nakinood na.
I noticed a familiar face. It's Ethan. Wala siyang suot na eyeglass and he's staring so d-mn serious. He's really hot with his basketball uniform, he's the Ace Player by the way. How can he managed his schedule? As if I care.
"Good job girls! You really amazed me. Especially you, Autumn. Always wear that smile of yours. Tataas ang puntos niyo sa competition. All in all, I'm so happy! You never failed to amazed me girls!" nakangiting sabi sa amin ni Ms. Lolita, he's a gay, for your info.
We're practicing now dahil next week na ang competition. Every year kasi may mga laban ang iba't ibang school in terms of sports.
And we are the representative in cheer dance competition.
Nang makaalis na si Ms. Lolita I faced my members.
"Thank you for your cooperation, girls. Keep it up. We can do this." nakangiting sabi ko.
"Group hug!" request ni Chastine.
"Ughh, in our sweaty skin?" maarteng tanong ni Mariel. We all laughed.
"You can go home now, take care."paalam ko. Nagbeso-beso lang kami.
Iniwan ko na sila doon at Pumunta ako ng bleachers para uminom ng tubig.
Lumapit naman sakin si Allyssa. "Omg girl! Why so galing?! Teach me how to do that split!" nagniningning na sabi niya. Hindi ko lang siya pinansin at hinahalungkat yung towel sa loob ng bag ko.
Umupo muna ako kaya tumabi sa akin si Allyssa.
"You hungry?" tanong niya. Umiling lang ako bilang sagot.
Napako ang tingin ko kay Ethan na umiinom ng Gatorade na kulay red.
"Interested ka sa kaniya? I am one of the officers of the Students Council." nakangiting sabi ni Ally.
"I'm surprised but I'm not interested about that jerk." bored na sagot ko.
"Then why are you staring at him?" tanong niya.
"Nothing." sagot ko at tumayo na.
"Bye, Autumn!" paalam nila Chastine pagkalabas nila ng locker room dito sa gym. I just smiled and wave.
"Look! Nakatingin siya sayoo." paimpit na sabi ni Ally habang nginunguso si Ethan.
I look at him. He's staring at me blankly. I fake a smile and wink at him. He just smirk at saktong tinapik siya ng kasama niya para umalis.
"You sure you're not interested?" pilyang tanong ni Ally.
I answered her with a smirk.
"He's not a playboy."sagot ko.
"But he's a hottie." sabi niya.
Nagkatinginan kami.
"You're a Bitch." nakatawang sabi ko.
"So are you." sagot niya.
"Daniel's Bar, later?" nakasmirk na aya ko.
"Sure!" masayang sagot niya.
