Once every king and prince were in the war room seated, King Daemon took his seat at the high point of the table while Elvira stood at his side. She held her head high being the only female in the room, and her right hand was constantly at the handle of her sword. She looked to her father and whispered a question.

"Am I allowed to make threats to anyone who questions my authority?"

The king chuckled and shook his head, putting his hand on Elvira's shoulder. He then got the attention of all the kings and princes.

"My fellow kings," His voice boomed, "I have asked for this meeting due to threats from other realms. They say that a kingdom has stolen precious metals from them and that a treaty was broken. We all know what can come from a broken treaty... war. So, if you know anything about these metals and what happened to them, I ask you to please co-"

The king was cut off by the sound of people screaming. Elvira urgently ran to the wide window that looked over the kingdom. She saw a king that was banned from the realm years ago. A king who started the biggest war between the realms that took seven years to settle. This king was King Terrowin, leader of the werefolk.

"Father, it's Terrowin." She said in an urgent manner.

"You go and take care of this. You know the king much better than I."

"Alright father." With that, Elvira ran out of the room and made her way out of the castle and into the town.

"Why would you send her? A princess to talk to the werewolf king?" A king called Uric asked the king, standing from his chair. The princes had run over to the window to see what was going on along with Elvira.

"She knows how to reason better than any of us kings."

Elvira made her way to the town, but was stopped by the werewolves right outside the castle. She stopped abruptly and laid her hand on the handle of her sword, ready to take it out at any moment. Terrowin looked at her with a sly smile on his face as he bowed lightly.

"Princess Elvira. Wonderful to see you once again." He said with his deep voice that almost seemed demonic.

"You know very well that are not welcome in this kingdom or as a matter of fact, in this realm. What are you doing here, Terrowin?" She stood waiting for an answer trying to hide her fear.

"I heard word of a treaty that has been broken, and have come to ask for the kingdom of Adeir to become an ally with the wolf folk in case of a potential war. Us joined together, we would be unstoppable."

"We would never ally with you. All you have ever done to us is lie and cheat us. You stole the kingdoms resources and forced all six realms into a war that killed thousands. This kingdom would never fight alongside you."

"Maybe you should think about reconsidering this. I can give you ten seconds to make the right decision. If you decide not to choose the right decision, my men and I will-?

"Will what?" Elvira interrupted strongly.

"My men and I will tear you and your puny guards to bits," He stepped closer, Elvira stepped back.

Elvira stood her ground and didn't make a sound as the wolf king began to countdown from ten.

"Ten...nine..." Elvira didn't budge, "eight...seven...six..." Terrowins voice began to grow angrier, "five...four..." Elvira's hand moved to the hilt of her sword, gently grasping it, "three...two.." She stared at the half man, looking directly into his midnight eyes, "one."

Terrowin pounced at Elvira and she drew her sword and used it as a shield. The castle guards tried to help but only to be faced with wolf soldiers. People began to run and scream as the soldiers and princess fought the wolves. Elvira dodged hits from Terrowin and, with her sword, cut his arm. He winced in pain as he backed away from the fierce warrior. Blood rolled down his arms to his hands. Terrowin growled and jumped towards Elvira, raising his claws. Elvira tried to move back but she wasn't quick enough. Terrowins claws dug into her arm. She yelled in pain as Terrowin pulled his claws away, leaving behind a long gash in Elvira's upper arm nearly reaching her elbow. Elvira took a quick glance at the wound; blood had already started down her arm and the wound was deep. As she looked back toward her opponent, Terrowin was making another move. He jumped on Elvira, knocking her to the ground. He pinned her down. She grunted and fought hard against him. She tried to find a way out of his grip as he began to widen his jaws. Then she saw an opportunity.

"Well Terrowin, do you want to know something my father always told me?" Elvira managed to get out through sharp, ragged breaths.

Terrowin laughed, "And what is that?"

"Never," Elvira took another ragged breath, "Never let your guard down."

Terrowin looked at her, confused, before she moved her leg and kneed him in the gut. Terrowin fell back, but his hand grazed her cheek and left a light scratch. She winced at the stinging but grabbed her sword and held it to Terrowins throat.

"I would gladly end your life here, but I know that you have a kingdom that still needs a ruler, seeing as you have not chosen a successor. I will let you and your men leave in peace, but the next time you come into this kingdom or make a threat towards my men, you better watch your back."

Elvira backed away from Terrowin and reached out her hand to help him up angrily. He took it and walked passed her. The wolf king let out a howl and his men took the cue and ran towards the kingdom gates, leaving. Terrowin turned towards Elvira and bowed.

"Until we meet again, princess." He said before following his comrades and leaving the kingdom into the forest.

The kings and princes looked out the wide window in shock. They had watched the whole interaction between Terrowin and Elvira and were fairly impressed with her skills. All of them waited for her to come through the doors especially Prince Edmund. He remembers the princess from when they were younger, he had always had feelings for her, but he knew she did not intend on marrying.

After moments of silence and waiting, the princess entered the room, still wrapping her arm. Everyone in the room was silent as they stared at her.

"So, are you going to ask me what happened or are you just going to stare at me like I'm a troll?" She said sitting down at the table.

Every man immediately sat down at the table in silence. Still shocked at what they had seen this girl do.
