They can be deceiving and revealing
They expose you making you vulnerable
Yet we can't seem to put them away
We hold on to them so closely
They cause us pain but make us feel
They're the cause of humanity
Without it we're just foolish
How can something so helpful be so bad?
It's damaging but repairing
It revives dead souls
Kills alive hearts
Yet not any of this stops us
We'll keep on feeling and fighting
Until we're nothing but dust
Dust that people mourn over
