CHAPTER FIVE
LATER THAT NIGHT
"...And they lived happily ever after", Wendy finished with a yawn. Toodles, Max wanted Wendy to tell them a story. So she did, but she didn't know that all of the Lost Boys would come to listen. Peter Pan went into a curtained room, Wendy assumed that it was his, when she started the story. Peter Pan had a candle or some sort of light in his room, because Wendy could clearly see his shadow. He had his hand to his chin thinking, and two feet spread slightly in front of him. Perhaps he was listening to the story Wendy wondered. The story that Wendy told was one of her favorites, Cinderella. The Lost Boys seemed to like it to.
"Oh please tell us another one!", exclaimed Max right after Wendy spoke. Wendy looked at the Lost Boys. They all had pleading eyes, begging for one more story. All of them but Felix. Felix's eyes were ice cold, and he was looking behind the Lost Boys, and the three Darlings. He was looking right at Peter Pan. What is that matter with him? Wendy questioned herself. Is Felix is a daze or something? Did Peter Pan do something to him? All these questions spiraled through Wendy's head, but she knew she wouldn't get her answers.
"What?", Wendy yawned. She had noticed the Lost Boys staring at her, and Max and Toodles were poking her. "Oh yea. Umm maybe", Wendy quickly answered, breaking her gaze with the back of Felix's head.
"Really?", Toodles asked happily. He clapped his hands together in excitement. Toodles and Max started to smile broadly. They couldn't wait.
"Oh ok", Wendy decided. "Once upon a time-",
"Do you want to hear another dumb story about a princess, or do you want want to go treasure hunting instead?", Peter Pan interrupted, poking his head out from behind the animal skin curtain. Max and Toodles still looked with begging eyes at Wendy, but the rest of the Lost Boys were ready for some adventure. Shouts and cries of yes erupted from the Lost Boys. Max and Toodles went along, because it looked like they didn't want to be different. Max and Toodles didn't look particularly happy, but they didn't look upset either.
"So what is a treasure hunt?", Micheal asked as himself and the Lost Boys got out of the tree. Wendy, Peter Pan, and John were waiting for them.
"It's just what it sound like", Alfred explained. "A Trea-sure hu-nt", Alfred said sounding out the words carefully to make sure Micheal heard Peter Pan correctly. Sheiks of laughter came from the Lost Boys, Peter Pan, and the two other Darlings mouths. Micheal's faced turned a light pink, but he wasn't set on having Alfred embarrass him.
"We are just going to be hunting for treasure?", Micheal asked curiously eyeing Peter Pan wearily. Peter Pan smirked, then grinned. "Wait there's treasure on this island?", Micheal asked greedily forgetting his last question.
"Of course there is", Peter Pan said proudly. "Anything you want. Just think it and it's yours", Peter Pan closed his eyes while they were closed a ice cream sundae appeared in his hands. Coos of awe came from the Darlings. "So lets see about that treasure hunt now", Peter Pan said walking farther and farther away from their home.
