CHAPTER SIX
"So where exactly are we going?", John asked, breaking the silence. The Lost Boys, the Darlings and Peter Pan have been walking for what seemed to be forever. John's feet were started to hurt. Wendy was carrying John the for the first part of the journey, but John is now grow up and he can walk on his own. John was showing off quite a bit when they were with their parents in London. He walked around them every chance he got. Just to prove that he could. Mr. and Mrs. Darling were very proud of John for his accomplishment.
"Wherever Peter Pan put it at", Toodles said simply. Toodles was still disappointed about not being able to hear another one of Wendy's story, John could tell he looked a little sadder. So Peter Pan not only owns treasure, but he hides it just for fun? John wondered.
"Where does Peter Pan usually put it?", John asked while stepping over a large tree branch. John was a little behind the group, so he had to jog to catch up. A few Lost Boys sneered, and grinned from ear to ear at John.
"Peter Pan putting the treasure in the same place for more than one time?", Alfred asked. Lost Boys sputtered with laughter. What is so funny? John pondered. John's face was filled with shock.
"I never hide the treasure in the same place", Peter Pan filled the Darlings in. Peter Pan was smiling, like he ever stopped along with the Lost Boys.
"Oh", John whispered feeling quite small. So this game might take forever..., John thought unhappily. He was starting to miss his home in London. With his mum, dad, and their helping dog, Nana. John just wanted to game to be over with. I hope I haven't been gone for so long that mummy and daddy forgot about me John thought sadly. John looked up to the sky, and closed his eyes tightly. I wish that I will be able to return home with Micheal and Wendy, John wished to the sky up above him.
"Oh by the way, John,", Peter Pan started. The Lost Boys stopped yelling and looked at John with interest, obviously listening to every word after. "I know about the wish you made".
But how could he? I didn't wish on the second star to the right John wondered, scared that Peter Pan was angry.
"And your not going home. Not now, not ever", the words pierced John's heart. I can never leave? I'll have to stay in Neverland...Forever? And what will become of mummy and daddy? Questions pounded in John's little head. Wendy and Micheal's eyes grew wide in horror. What would become of us? John wondered. "Now that we got that out of the way we were going to play treasure hunt, yes?", Peter Pan asked the group of boys, and Wendy. The Lost Boys screamed yes, the Darlings stood frozen, and Max, and Toodles nodded in sad agreement. They still did not want to play this game. "Let's play!", Peter Pan called. He took flight into the air towards what looked like a skull cave.
