DELILAH LET OUT a laugh as she felt arms wrap around her tightly, her quickly returning it
"Lilah! i've missed you so much!" Peter mumbled, May we're behind the two, a happy smile on her face
She knew about Delilah's avenging and couldn't help but feel worried about the girl she considered a daughter
"It's been a while." Delilah smiled, "How was the mission?" May asked, causing Delilah to stiffen slightly
"I'll explain once we get home, but I am in the mood for some of the best meatloaf in Queens." She smirked, wiggling her eyes at May
"Oh, Peter, let her go so I can hug her." May said, rolling her eyes playfully
Peter let out a soft groan before unwrapping his arms around her, May quickly replacing him
"How's your mom doing?" May questioned, her arms tight around Delilah, "She's better, she was pretty upset I couldn't stay and help her with training the newbies." the girl laughed

"HEY." DELILAH SMILED into the phone, Wanda, whom she had gotten friendly with over the last few weeks, had forced Delilah to call her daily when she was in queens and the girl decided she'd get it out of the way once she arrived at Peters apartment
"Hey!" Wanda's voice came excitedly from the other line, she had missed the girl during training, she wasn't use to training without her
"How was training?" Delilah asked, noticing May and Peter looking at her, wiggling their eyebrows
"It was good, Natasha doesn't hold back." Wanda laughed, Delilah felt her smile widen, "I'm glad it went well, I know mom can be a bit extra."
Delilah's eyes widened as she heard her mom yell 'Hey!' in the background, "Wanda I can't believe you've betrayed me like this." She spoke with faux offense in her voice
"ты знаешь, ты любишь меня" (you know you love me) Wanda spoke, the two would talk in Russian around Tony but rarely around Natasha, because she was Russian.
"You love Wanda?" Natasha's teasing voice came from over the phone, "Да, мама, она мой друг." (yes, mom, she's my friend) Delilah replied, rolling her eyes
"How long are you gone, Delilah?" Steve questioned through the phone, "Well, I'm here with Peter for a week, but for whatever reason, my parents want to talk with me the day before I leave, so, I probably won't be back at the compound for another two weeks." She said rolling her eyes
"I'm sorry what?" Both Natasha and May yelled, "Yeh, they found my number and said they, and I quote, want to apologize to their daughter because she lost her faith in God because of them, but, no offense Rogers, God is about as real as my heterosexuality." She said rolling her eyes
"What are you going to say to them?" Wanda asked softly, she knew all about her crushes parents, and it made her feel guilty she wasn't there to help her
"I dunno." she shrugged, "Hey, how do you think they'll react when I tell them i've been adopted by an former russian spy?" She laughed
She heard Nat laugh, but she also heard the door bell ring, it was MJ & Ned, Peters friends, or well MJ just tolerated them for the sake of it
"Look, I do have to go, I've not seen MJ in ages and I've missed my favourite girl, i'll talk to you later, W?" Delilah questioned, smiling when MJ and Ned walked in
"Sure." Wanda smiled on the other end, ending the call
"Ayo, Delilah!" MJ grinned, hugging Delilah slightly while Ned yelled, "Is it true you're an avenger?!"
