That Folder Is Thick, But Leo Is Thicker

"Babe, get the fuck up. It's time to own this loser world."

Only one voice on earth could sound that heavenly, while using words so crude: my fiancé.

I rubbed my eyes, squinting at the pale rays of sunlight shining through the windows. Rolling over, I come face to face with my gorgeous fiancé. His contagious smile makes me feel happy.

"Good morning to you too." I joke, as he wraps an arm around my waist.

"It's time for us to get ready for work."

I glance over his shoulder at the clock sitting on the nightstand. It's seven in the morning. Gross.

I reach for his hand off my waist and interlock our fingers, "So after we own the world, we go for dinner together, right?"

"Of course, you sexy thing." He winks before getting out of bed, scooping me up from the sheets after he is on his feet. He spins me around once before kissing my forehead.

My job is pretty amazing. I'm a couple positions down from CEO of this company and my boss is one of my role models and best friends. I work with some of the kindest, while granted the strangest people on earth; and all the work is easy to me.

P.O. Seidon , the founder and CEO of Pacific Oceans Co.- a company dedicated to (your favorite charity/cause/hobby), is a long time family friend. My father met him years ago in the Navy and though they lost touch for about 15 years, within the past 5 years they have reconnected (which has worked out in my favor when it came to finding a job after college). Reportedly, he has a son who traveled abroad for college somewhere in Greece, and is supposed to be working with us over the summer now that he has graduated. And as long as he does his work, I have no issue with adding another bee to the hive.

I walked to my office, setting my spreadsheets and folders down on the desk. I flipped through a couple folders, making sure everything was in place for today's meeting.

"You know the only thing thicker than those folders is my ass." A familiar voice said.

I looked behind my shoulder to see one of my old college friends and coworker, Leo Valdez. He winked as he passed by the door.

"I think you meant your skull!" I jokingly called out and could easily imagine the fake hurt expression I'm sure he had on his face.

The meeting went perfectly. I aced my presentation for the new fundraiser of the season and Mr. Seidon mentioned the arrival date of his son: August 21st. About a week away from today.

I spent the remaining three hours at work just finishing up some loose ends, before F/N (fiancé's name) picked me up.

"How'd the presentation go?" F/N asked after he opened the car door for me, holding my hand to help me out.

"I nailed it."

"Of course you did." He smiled at me before squeezing my hand a little tighter and whispering in my ear, "I have the perfect congratulations gift at home for you." He kissed my ear.

'Damn, he turns me on.' You thought, lightly chuckling to yourself as you both headed into the restaurant.
