Lea and Calum were best friends since they were in diapers, and were going out for 4 years, but when Calum's sister dies from a car crash, he goes downhill. His dad blames him for the death, which makes Calum depressed and angry. Lea tries to help him stop taking drugs and drinking, but she gives up after finding Calum cheating on her with her rival and the sluttiest girl in school, Gabby Parkinson. That happened 3 years ago.
