I laughed, hard. Harder than I've ever laughed before. I was actually enjoying myself. And this was a surprise.. a plesant surprise.

"You're so funny!!" I laughed through my words. He smiled and we kept walking down the sidewalk, leading to my house. The cold air attacked us, but it didn't seem like I minded. I was too busy laughing. What this boy could do to me was completely outrageous!

"I have my ways," Luke smiled with a wink. We continued strolling in the dark midnight air, laughing, all the adults staring at us when passing. Young love..

As we reached my house, we stood in front of my steps and stood faced to face. The cold air flwing freely out of my mouth. A cold chill ran down my spine and I smiled and looked down at the ground. Luke looked straight at me, searching around, desperate for my eyes.

After a brief moment of silence, it broke when Luke began speaking. When he talked, his lip piercing bounced up and down making me chuckle a bit. His face, inches away from mine.. I could feel his warm breath spread across my face as he spoke. Listening to every word carefully.\

"...Autumn," He looked serious. This wasn't right. What was going on? I buried my hands deep into my leather jacket's pockets, while bting my lip, insanely hard. I couldn't feel anything, anyways. I felt numb. I felt like something big was going to happen. But I think he noticed. And he smirked. In a "i know you're nervous, but its cute" kind of way. It kinda ticked me off and I just forced a little smile. Just waiting for the words to come. Because if I knew anything, up to this point, he was proabably leading me on. I let out a tiny sigh, one that he couldn't hear, but I could.

Time was passing, of us just standing there, freezing, looking straight into each other's eyes. Searching for any type of emotion. But it felt like we were both wearing a mask to hide everything. And it was nearly killing me, and I bet it was killing him.

"I need to ask you something." That's it. Maybe even a look of sympathy. I swallowed hard, preparing myself for what I should hear. Probably asking if I was also in love with him. Maybe I am. I don't know. I buried my hands deeper into my jacket, upto the point where it could rip. But I didn't care. He should just hurry up. By now he's probably thinking of a way to spare my feelings.

"Okay, so what I need to ask you is.." I nodded, giving him a sign to proceed, and he just chuckled and I could've sworn that he had looked a bit nervous.

He reached into his pocket, but I remained staring straight into his eyes. Hoping I would find an emotion. Anything.

Soon enough, he got down on one knee and opened a velvet case.

"Oh my god." I started tearing up. No, I started crying. I couldn't breathe. My heart instantly stopped. Then started beating again, but 100x faster. I couldn't even.. Luke proposed to me. You know how in movies, you see the man proposing and everything, yeah. And the girl is standing there in shock, crying, unexpected of what just happened? Well, that's the scenario I'm in. But my feelings are way stronger.

I stood there for about 5 seconds, crying, speechless, the tears blurring my vision, but I could see a beautiful boyfriend standing on one knee, with a gorgeous ring in hand, smiling and waiting for my answer.

I then realized what I had to do. I nodded and nodded and covered my mouth in the process, because I was speechless. He stoof up and slid the shiny silver ring onto my finger and I grabbed his face and just brought him to my lips. I tangled my hands in his hair, smiling through the kiss as he grabbed me by the waist.

We spread apart and smiled at each othe for a long time. My arms wrapped around his neck and I softly whispered, "Yes." And he smiled so wide, I shed another tear.

"I love you Autumn." Luke whispered.

And I knew he meant it.

"I love you too, Luke." I smiled and we shared a heated kiss.

okayyy. now i'm done. wooh! this took about two hours to write and i'm really tired. ty all for commenting and reading my fanfics, it really means a lot.

2-3 months ago, i was on wattpad with only 80 reads on this short story book thingy (lol)

but when i logged on today, i nearly cried witha round 800 reads! i gained about 720 reads from you guys. and literally, it took my breath away. some of you are even taking ur time messaging me about how ya'll love my fanfics.

i love you guys sooo much and i can't believe i have about 2k on my "impossible love" book. I WANTED TO CRYY! i love you guys
