"I thought they passed away?" I ask as Alex rubs my arm with his thumb "well I just got news that one of they're hearts started to beat again" She says "so I'm still a mother?" I ask as Alex starts to smile "yes, you will see her soon" She says opening the door "you'll also need a name" She says and leaves "we're parents Alex" I say as he smiles "names, we need a name for her" He says as I smile "lavender?" Then I see the door open again. "Here is you're baby, mama" The nurse says as she walks over to me and hands me her "did you pick a name?" She asks "lavender may" Alex blurts out and I smile "lavender may Guzman" I say as he looks over at me and smiles uncontrollably "awe y'all are so you" Sonya says as everyone smiles "can I hold her?" Alex asks "it's you're child too Alex of course" I say as he sits in the chair next to me and holds her "she's adorable" He says as I smile and play with his hair as he sits in the seat next to the hospital bed. "You will be able to go home tomorrow, but you gotta take it slow" The nurse says "okay thank you" I say as she nods and walks out.

"Can me and Alex just be alone?" I ask and everyone nods and walks out "thank you Emily" He says "for what?" I ask and he smiles and looks up at me "for showing me what true love is, and for this precious angel" He says and I look at him shocked "true love?" I ask "Emily I'm in love with you" He says traveling his eyes back down the lavender. "I love you too Alex" I say as he leans over and kisses me

"I've misses that" I say as he chuckles me too "what are we going to do Alex?" I say as he looks over at me "I don't know, I live a couple miles away from you" He says "what if something happens" I ask "no Emily, I'm going to move closer don't worry" He says as I smile "that will be easier" I say as he nods "can you take her?" He asks "yeah" He hands me her as I see she's asleep and rubbed her little hand and she smiled. About an hour later a nurse came in "can we take her?" She asks "for?" I ask "don't worry momma it's just checking to make sure she's still in 100% health and you can get some sleep" She says and I nod as I hand lavender to the nurse

I look over and see Alex asleep in the chair as I just lean back and fall asleep

It's the next day and the nurse comes in "are you ready to go home?" She asks as I look over and see Alex with lavender "yes" I say as I get up and she already took me off all the morphine. So I get up and grab my clothes and walk into the bathroom and change. "You get lavender and I'll get the diaper bag?" Alex asks "yeah" I say as he hands me lavender and grabs the diaper bag. Once we reach the car I strap lavender into the car seat Rossoni bought last night for us

"Ready?" Alex asks "yes, let's go" I says as he nods. Once we reach my house I see a lot of cars there "Alex this better not be-" He cut me off "my gang is not involved in our child" He says as I nod "thank you" I say "the friends you mad in the gang might be" be says as I laugh "that's fine" I say as I get out of the car and unbuckle lavender and Alex grabs the diaper bag.

I walk in and see pink streamers everywhere "surprise shorty" Gio says walking around the corner to me "wassup" Carlos says showing himself "hi" Chris says as I laugh "hey Emily" Jabez says as I laugh "we got an actual surprise upstairs for you" Gio says "what did you do?" I ask as Carlos picks up daisy "can I hold her, so you can go look?" Gio asks "just be careful and don't drop her" I says as he smiles "I won't" He says as he grabs her "her names lavender" Alex says "Lavender May Guzman" I say as they smile "well let's go upstairs" I say as I walk up to one of the guest rooms they want me to look at.

I open the door and see a baby room I walk in a smile as Alex walks in and puts the diaper bag down in the room. "Congratulations baby" Alex says as I smile "thank you guys" I say as they all smile "no problem, anything for y'all" Jabez says as I chuckle
