{Chapter 2} (New POV)

Elle’s POV

If you don’t know me. I’m Gabrielle but you can call me Elle. I am basically the awkward girl that has no friends.  Yay! How exciting my life is. It is basically prom season again. Another year going to prom alone again yay!

I know it’s always the other way around but unfortunately I don’t have anyone to ask since they would probably turn me down like that one time when I asked out the school nerd named, Chris. Even he turned me down!  So I’m 100% If I ever asked out my crush (which is a popular) he will probably turn me down and either way he probably has a date already.

As I walk in the school bus and show my ID to the bus driver and walked down my usual seat at the front and got out my favorite book called “An Abundance Of Katherine’s.

I saw him. He walked down the empty bus as he took a seat a row back at my seat. He never went to the bus but why?

“Hey.” He yelled out.

I slowly turned my head to his direction and pointed at me.

“Yes you.” He said as he patted his seat requesting that I should sit with him. So I did.

“Why do you want me to sit with you? Aren’t you like a popular boy?”I asked him.

Eventhough I liked him, I knew his personality was ‘Charm her fuck her then leave her’ kind of attitude.

“Well I don’t have anyone here to talk to right now and it’s nice to get to know a new person and it’s a plus that you’re beautiful.” He said with a smile.

“Me? Beautiful? Those two words don’t fit together in a sentence unless it’s ‘Elle isn’t Beautiful’ right?”I said to him.

“So your name is Elle? Well Hi Elle it’s nice to meet you, I’m Luke.”He stated as he held his hand out for me to shake.

I slowly pulled out my hand to him.

“So?”He asked with one eyebrow up. Goddamn his eyes are so beautiful.

“So?” I also asked with the same gestures.

“Can I have your number?”He asked nervously as he looked at the ground.

“I don’t know should I?”I asked jokingly with a light chuckle.

“Maybe you should.”He said awkwardly.

“How do I know you aren’t going to booty call me?”I asked again jokingly of course.

“Well then I won’t.”He said reassuringly.

“Okay then.”I said as I gave him my number.

“So I see you like Nirvana.”He said as he pointed to my band tee.

“Yeah I actually do unfortunately.”I said

“Well I guess this is my stop.”He said and I knew suddenly a part of me sadden.

“Well then bye.”I said as he was getting out of the old school bus.

“I’ll text you later!” He yelled getting out of the school bus..
