Tiffany bend forward trying to catch her breath, looking at her watch she noticed the time
"Shit" she cursed out loud it was 11 o clock the evening, to her it felt like the time stood still and nothing moved around her. Jogging was something she loved to do. It became part of her daily routine and running always seems to cheer her mood as her mind felt like a whirlwind spinning round and round.
Her favorite song was on repeat and blasting threw her headphones the tune was catchy and she kept playing it over and over. An evening jog always seems to cheer her up but tonight her mind was troubled with the thought of HIM.
OOOOH, I SHOULD BE RUNNING!!!
OOOOH, I SHOULD BE COMING FOR YOU!!!
Tiffany hummed to the lyrics of the song. The song's lyrics described a couple that was attracted to each other but the couple seems to play a game with each other. Her mind drifted to the thought of him. Shaking her head, the thoughts of him drove her insane and angry at the same time, memories of them together taunting her very soul and she has tried to shake these emotions off but it keeps coming to the surface like a wine stain that refuses to come out of a white dress no matter how many times you wash it. A reminder that her heart is stained for loving him and the end result will never be known.
She jogged to help with the stress from work and it helps clear her mind as she has to fit in her studies as well. The running partly helped, it cleared her thoughts and her body felt good after a long run sore but good. Her legs ached and she could feel she must have been running a lot but she cannot think straight. Her mind was like a themed amusement park.
Every memory she accessed it would feel like a rollercoaster ride starting off slowly till it reaches the top and BANG then it would just go real fast till you feel like you want to vomit. The ride was a never-ending story in her brain and the heat also did not help the situation as it kept her up at night. The only way she could get herself to sleep is she kept the air conditioner on the whole night but then she would wake up shivering from the cold. Time stood still for a few moments when she thought of the day that was truly the saddest day of her life.
He dropped her off this one morning and she was sad because it would be their last morning together. He had to fly to Japan for work and his last words were This is not goodbye my LOVE we will see each other again soon.
Urggggggggg!!!
She got annoyed with herself why was this so hard. She knows better she deserved better and she had better so why is it so god damn hard to forget and move on.
A tear escaped the corner of her eye. Tiffany breathed in and out slowly and said out loud "ENOUGH, "she told herself and took off her headphones placing them around her neck. No more thinking. She looked around if anyone was looking at her because she must look to bystanders like someone that escaped a mental Institute.
She started walking making her way out of the park towards the exit. She pictured herself having a warm shower. Water running over her sore muscles seem like heaven to her. The sweat started dripping down her back which brings her out her dream world.
WOW!!! She has jogged for almost 2 hours but it felt to her no more than 30 minutes.
Tiffany lived just across from the park so getting home was like a 5-minute walk, it would be 1 year soon that she been staying in this apartment. She had a flatmate but she had to move because her parents requested she move closer to home. That made Tiffany think about her own mom and dad hoping they okay, she will have to phone them to make sure. They weren't her real parents because she was adopted and she never felt the need to look for her real parents because she always knew deep down if her real parents wanted her they would have come looking for her long time ago.
Her body ached and her muscles were sore and she was walking skew. Her left side ached and she knew she must have pulled a muscle. She felt sweaty and even her clothes were sticking to her body. Looking down at what she was wearing she knew it was the right choice. It was dark so no one would even look at what she is wearing or care.
She dressed very light and plain she had on a black t-shirt and dark navy shorts and sneakers. She could feel the sweat dripping on the side of her face which made some of her hair sticking to her face.
Yuck!!!! She thought she cannot wait to take a shower. Smiling to herself like an idiot. Tiffany was obsessed with her weight she was always self-conscious about it. She used to be teased a lot and that made her into the exercise freak she is today but there was nothing wrong with her like most girls would say she just prided herself with perfection and with that motivation she took good care of herself and her body. She had long beautiful thick, silky brown hair that was always a mission to wash but she got used to it. Her hazel color eyes were her most attractive feature but to her, she looked okay she liked how she fitted in a crowd not standing out like a sore thumb but fit in so that nobody would notice her. Tiffany knew deep down that her emotions will get the better of her. Deep down her emotions were like rockets waiting to go off!!!!!
