Josh POV

Josh exited the chapel. He was lost he was looking for the receptionist desk when he saw the church chapel sign he decided he was going to say a prayer for Tiffany hoping that she is okay, they haven’t seen each other  in so many years even though they would keep in contact but it was not the same. He was at fault and he knew she was angry at him. He was to blame for a lot of things that went wrong in they're relationship but when he heard she was in an accident a part of him died knowing something have happened to her  and he owed it to her to come find her and declare his love. That was all he was thinking about every single day seeing her cute face again and kissing her soft lips. His job have been so demanding that it consumed most of his time and it was no excuse for the way he handled his relationship but he wanted her to be happy so pushing away  the only person he cared about and shutting off his emotions seemed to be the best for the both of them. He knew it was unfair to make choices on her behalf because she would not agree. He loved how fiesty she was.
Over the years she would always beg and plea that he should settle but the conversation would always end the same way he would choose his work over the relationship. He hated himself for bringing sadness to her heart because all she ever wanted was him but he felt he needed to pursue his career and she would wait for him if he asked. It was selfish of him and he wanted her to be happy. He knew she was dating on and off but he was confused as to what he wanted for himself for so long until now that the love of his life was in hospital he knew where he wanted to be .
Exiting the chapel, he walked the walls but the whole place was like a dead zone no soul in sight. The hospital was quiet and smelled disguisting. He hated hospitals and seeing sick people it made him feel like he was giong to be sick. He strolled down the hallway's and it’s not like he knew where to start searching.

He walked and turned a corner when he saw a nurse busy at a computer. He stopped in front of her and cleared his throat to get her attention. She looked up at him and he could tell she was tired and drained she must have had a long day. She looked up at him with a frown on her face and asked him if she could help him.
Josh  explained to her that he is looking for someone and gave Tiffany's name and details. He then blabbered on about how long he have been out the country and he flew back immediately when he got the news. He gave her a smile and thanked her for helping him he really appreciated it.

She  started typing on her computer screen. Looking up at him and then back to the screen.

He took off his glasses and asked her if everything was okay? She looked up from the screen and was writing something on a piece of paper. He gave her a smile and and he could see a hint of a blush rising to her cheeks . Smiling with himself he thought he still had that affect on woman. She handed him the piece of paper and told him how to get there.

He thanked the nurse again and winked at her. She blushed and turned her face away so he could not see but it was to late.

He walked till he found the elevator, he got inside and pressed the number 5. The elevator then stopped on the fifth floor. The doors opened and he started walking and checking the door numbers . Her room was number 20 and he was only at number 11.

He turned a corner and saw the door number 20. He finally reached her door. He was not sure what to expect he stood outside the closed door for a few minutes and took a deep breathe and he opened the door.

He walked in, closing the door behind him he looked around the room and saw her tiny body lying there. Bandaged up and hooked up to machines . He rushed over to her bed and took her hand in his and kissed it.

He eyes wide with shock at the woman before him. What the hell happened baby  he thought.

He knew she did not like it when he called her that but he told her she should get used to it.

He sat down and looked at all the machines in the room. She was hooked up to all of them and it worried him. She had even a tube to help her breathe. His heart stopped he was to late she looked like a vegetable laying there dead still.
He started talking hoping she would open her eyes and speak to him. He told her he wished things was diffrent .That he realised sooner that he loved her more that anything else on the planet. That he wanted them to get married and have 2 children one boy and one girl. He looked up at her face and touched her cheeks and lips .He squeezed her hand and it felt so cold.

He broke down and told her he was so sorry .That he always focused on work more than gave her the time she wanted or deserved and she deserved better.

He knew that she meant everything to him and if she just opened her eyes she would see that he wanted her and only her.

He wiped the tears that was running down his face when the door swung open and there she stood that same girl from the church chapel. He looked at her and she looked at him .The room started to smell like coffee and he noticed she had a coffee cup in her hands . He watched at she entered the room and closed the door. She put the coffee cup on the counter without taking her eyes off him she walked over to him. She walked right up to him and smacked him.

Josh stood there stunned. His brain was not registering what just happened. He felt his cheek it was still warm and he was sure her hand left a handprint on his right cheek. He looked at her and she had taken a step back with her hands folded across her chest.

Who was this woman he thought. He was never smacked in his life by any other woman but his mother. He cleared his throat and spoke loud and with a angry tone.

I dont know who you think you are but you should leave before i throw you out. He looked at her and stepped forward showing off how big he is against her small, tiny figure.

She shoved her index finger in his face and started swearing at him. He grabbed her by the shoulders and started shaking her telling her to be quiet. He couldn't get her to shut up. She was like a crazy person rambling on and on. The door swung open again and 2 doctor's walked in. They both turned around and went quiet.
She gave him a death glare but he just shoved her to the side and ignored her. The doctor's looked at them and then back to Tiffany's chart.

One of the doctor's turned to them and spoke. He asked them both to follow him to his office where he would explain what was happening with the patient. They're both followed the doctor towards his office and took a seat at his table he then excused himself and said he just need to go get some files he would be right back and he left the office.
