Part 12 and Part 13

"Good morning to the wonderful contestants. We are very happy to have our top 20 contestants in the master chef kitchen."- spoke Emily, the host of the show.

*Claps*

"So, what do we have for today Gale sir."

"Well, today for the first round we would be giving the contestants a taste test. We want them to taste few ingredients and name them. Then we have a unique ingredient identification test."

"So let's move."

In the first round Clara ,Wincy and Benny where on the top. Mrs. Sprikly was up to the mark.
The next round was little bit tough. But Mrs. Sprikly and Aslam , made through it. She had learned few of the ingredients in the restaurant as Jackson was always fond of trying and bringing new ones which helped Mrs. Sprikly here.

"So after the two rounds we are going to move onto the third round which would be a cooking session.We are going to give one unique ingredient to each one of you and you are needed to prepare a unique dish out of it. You can use anything but make sure the taste of the unique ingredient should be on top. The one who wins this challenge would be qualified for the fourth level." Spoke Reynold.

The chefs explained each ingredient and their flavours.

"You have only one hour to complete the dish. Alright, all the best and let's start." Gale spoke giving a thumbs up to all the contestants.

The clock was running and every passing second was precious.

Mrs. Sprikly had got 'Hogget' as a unique ingredient which is One-year-old lamb in its second spring or summer, which is considered to have a better flavour and texture than lamb, but isn't as gamey as mutton.

"Time up everybody. Ok contestants bring your dish forward."

Everybody placed their dishes on a large serving table placed in the room meant for the judges. Each one individually entered that room and presented before the judges.

"So Mrs. Sprikly what did you prepare today from the unique ingredient?" Gale spoke with his brows raised.

"I have prepared a stew with the unique ingredient -Hogget and to go along with it a mushroom cream and some steamed vegetables."- spoke Mrs. Sprikly in a soft tone.

The chefs began tasting.

"Mrs. Sprikly you had a very strong ingredient with you . But unfortunately you couldn't use it well. What do you think Gale?" Reynold spoke tilting his head towards Gale.
