I turn 17 tomorrow! and I'd like to think I actually have my life together more than most of my peers. Don't mean to brag but thanks to my tiger parent of a father I have I've been Vice President for 2 years straight, I run track at an unbeatable speed, I'm a straight "A" student. So I do gotta give my dad some credit saying as he is the only parent that hasn't left me like my "mom"
I'm getting ready to tackle the second month of junior year and more importantly the day before my birthday !!!!! I take one good look in the mirror making sure "I always look presentable" as my dad always reminds me.

I hop in my car and make my way onto school. To meet up with my very knowledgeable boyfriend of almost 2 years, Marcus (he reminds me of my dad a bit lol) I finally pull up to school and meet up Marcus "Good morning Baby" Marcus says in the parking lot before walking in hand-in-hand together. In my opinion we're the power couple of Chino Hills High school. He also runs track (not as fast as me if u ask me but shhhh) he's a straight "A" student, and has been our class president for 2 years straight also! Oh and did I mention that his dad donates big time to our school science department & Track program!

As me and Marcus walked in together I turned to my side to give Melo our routinely head nod, when Marcus isn't paying attention. No shady business but me and Melo (or as most of you may know him as "tHe LaMeLo bAlL" ) used to be the best of friends since the 3rd grade all the way til high school when things started to change and we drifted apart. Even tho we acknowledge each other with our daily head nod, we're pretty much strangers after that. There's no bad blood between us but Melos the school celebrity thanks to his basketball talents so we sorta just realized we were too different from each other with Melo becoming such a wild card as his fame grew and all the things that came with the new territory!
