That Fateful Day

"Nashi, wake up. We're having Omurice for breakfast. "

I slowly opened my eyes, realising what my Luke, my twin brother, said. I rushed down to the dining room, not doing my usual morning routine, to find my father eating my breakfast.

"Ugh, really Dad?"

"Sorry sweetheart, I couldn't resist it." my father said, flashing me a sheepish smile

"Take mine, I don't want it."

"Luke! Eat your breakfast! Don't worry honey, I'll just cook it again."

"Sorry mom."

An all too familiar banging noise filled the house.

"Looks like they're here~"

I rushed to my room to chang into my usual clothes, a long sleeved crop top and basic denim jeans. As a final touch I wrapped the dragon scale scarf, that grandfather Igneel gave me, around my neck.

"Could you be any slower?!"

I sprinted to the door only to see that my friends and siblings were already walking to the guild.

"Flamebrain! Hurry up, Stop being a slowpoke!" Storm yelled.

"Shut up!" I rushed over to them.

Rose glared at us. "I'm not in the mood."

Storm whispered to me. "Sheesh.. Is she on her period?" making me snicker. 

Unfortunately for us, the famed guild demon heard us.

"What. Did. You. Just. Say?", she glared at us menacingly, a comical vein appearing.

Storm and I hugged each other from fear. "Sorry, Ma'am! We won't do it again!"

When we reached the guild, I slammed open the door. Everyone seemed to be crowding around someone.

A girl.

She had black hair and a pair of beautiful ocean eyes.
Honestly, I almost fell for her.

Just when I was about to ask who she was, I heard Storm say something.

"She's beautiful..."

At that moment, I felt my break into a thousand pieces. Nova and Rose's eyes opened wide. Most of the boys started crowding around that "beautiful" mystery girl. I rolled the eyes that threatened to spill out a waterfall.

Nova rushed me out of the guild and pushed me to her house. Rose also followed us.

Nova patted my head, "Look, that girl, did you see a dark pink aura around her? She's a dark magic user."

"She probably used love magic on the boys..", Rose chimed in, "Of course, dragon slayers and my brother won't be affected."

My eyes immediately lit up, "So that's why he said that-"

Rose started giggling.

"What?"

"Sorry Nashi, it's just cute how you like Storm without knowing it."

I started blushing, "What?! No, I don't!"

"Heh, your as red as a tomato..."

*Ahem* "Stop your bickering. Right now, we need a plan."
