HER SADDENED EYES watch the traffic go by her as she walks down the streets. The morning came quick, and her parents didn't bother paying any attention to her, as they were to lost in their perfect world. She watches the people around her, they're so happy. 'I can't wait to get married' A though comes from a girl that sits with her fiancé, eating ice cream by the ice cream shop. Both of them are so happy and she wonders if she will ever have the chance to be this happy in her life. Though, she doubts it. Now that she's been used, no one would want her of course. He even said it himself, she can still hear his words echo in her mind. 'No man will ever want to touch you again'.

His words are the truth, she can't deny that. Yet, she wants to believe they are lies, but she knows it isn't. Not only has she been used, but she's also the freak. As everyone tells her. Her curse is what makes her a freak and a freak she will be for the rest of her life. She didn't ask to be like this, she never asked for that curse she was born with, yet she got it. Like the world punishing her when she has not even committed any sins. She's never done anything bad in her life, still she gets punished.

The sun slowly comes up, painting the sky is beautiful colors. The day starts out beautiful and yet she can't seem to find the happiness. In her whole life, she always saw the bright side of everything, even her curse. Yet, now that she has been broken down, she can't find happiness in anything. The girl doesn't know for how long she just stayed out there, but she did everything she could to not return home. Tomorrow will be more pain for her, as she's supposed to go to that doctor again. She's not sure if she'd be able to handle all of that again. Shivers out of fear run down her body as she thinks of the things she's been through.

Sitting on a bench in the park, she watches as people are walking their dogs and taking their morning run and happy families with their children. Something that she wishes she has. She watches children play with each other and how happy they are. The kind of happiness she never got in her childhood. It brings tears to her eyes to even look at this, she looks down at her bruised fingers. Hating how the purple bruises look, she covers them with the sleeve of her hoodie. The bench she's sitting on goes down a bit and in the corner of her right eye, she's sees someone has sat down on the other end of the bench.

Not paying any mind to that, she plays with her fingers that are in the sleeves. A tear falls down at her sleeve and she realizes that she's crying. She wipes her cheeks and rubs her eyes a bit and then takes a deep breath, not wanting to cry in the park with so many people. She doesn't want them to think her weak, but in reality she's weak. But, the humiliation of yesterday's event still haunt her. "Are you all right?" A soft man's voice asks her. She looks up from her lap and her head turns to the other person sitting on the bench.

It's a boy, she guesses about two or three years older than she is. She nods her head and the looks down again. Fidgeting her fingers and doing anything she can to distract herself from all the memories that even now keep flooding her mind. She feels him come closer to her. "You don't look all right, should I call someone for you or?" He asks. 'God, what can I do?' She hears him think. She doesn't do anything, not much she can do. She can't answer him and she never learned sign language. She just figures that he will leave her alone if she doesn't do anything.

He will leave her alone with her thoughts and her pain. The pain that's still fresh on her mind and body. Her whole body has been aching since the moment she woke up. The amount of pain that it was put through and the bruises that are forming is enough to tell that she's been through a lot, in so short time. "Hello? Do you want me to call someone?" He asks again, getting frustrated with this girl, as his tone is raising. She doesn't answer, she doesn't do anything, again. Just sits there with her head down and watches her lap.

'Why doesn't she speak to me?' His worried thought travels to her mind, and she can already tell that he won't stop until she speaks to him, what he doesn't know if that she can't speak and will never be able to speak. She can't answer him, not now nor ever. She stands up and walks away, leaving him. Not wanting to be with anyone, or with someone who would never understand. She has no choice but to head home. She's not welcomed anywhere else, no one would take a girl that's dressed in clothes that are covered in holes and rips, no one would take a girl that can't even communicate with them.

"Hey! Wait up!" She hears behind her, but she doesn't stop, nor does she look back. Just continues on her way to her apartment. Knowing that she will most likely be greeted with parents who either want to hurt her or ignore her. Suddenly she feels someone take her wrist and force her to turn around. The girl's startled by this action, but she doesn't say anything. Her face is blank. She looks up, only to be met with blue eyes staring deep into her soul.
