✧Telepathic✧
Chapter 11|A story to be told
❝I was drowning until you saved me❞
✧THE GIRL STARED to write on the page until she had no more room to write. He brought her another page and then another and another. She never showed him what she was writing but she spend an hour writing on those pages and she even put numbers on them to make sure he reads them in the exact order. He was so curious to know what she was writing, but he respected her privacy. She needs it now more than ever. However, he knows she has a lot to say.
After the words that she had written before, he wants to know. He will not push her into telling him anything, but saying something. Letting him know the things that have been happening to her will help her, taking that weight of her chest will be a good start to getting her help. A person that has been through the things that she has, doesn't trust a lot of people, most of the time they trust no one. He knows this and is just lucky that he has managed to earn her trust. If they had met the week after, he fears that it would have been too late for her. She might have been a goner.
A person going through this has limited time before they become someone beyond saving. That would have happened to her if he hadn't met her. No one would help her. She doesn't allow them. She doesn't trust people, afraid they would harm her. He can already tell that the doctor isn't the only one who has harmed her, some of the scars that he saw on her body looks to be years old from her childhood it would seem. "I'm just going to the bathroom. I'll be right back" He tells her and goes to the bathroom.
She wasn't really listening to him as she was far too busy writing, and writing and writing. Her hands are aching from writing, sometimes she's switch hands, as she can write well with both hands. Yet, she doesn't stop writing. She knows that she can trust him and she wants to tell him everything. He might never want to see her again after that but she needs to tell someone. There's something deep inside her that knows that he won't leave her. She doesn't know what but is willing to take that risk. He might have her locked up on some asylum but at least he will be in her life, she hopes.
She will not allow anyone to be her shrink but him. He doesn't even try to hide it that he is learning to be a shrink of some sort and she likes that. His mind is filled with ideas that do not involve hurting her like everyone else she's ever met. She wants him to help her and she wants him to protect her. He is the only one she trusts with her life. The boy goes into the bathroom and takes up his phone to call someone. He's calling the police to let them know of the things that the doctor has done to the girl and he also mentions the name of her parents and how they can be in on it as some of her scars run deep, deep enough to be from her childhood. He's sure that no parent would allow their child to be harmed this way from this doctor and that's why he suspects the parents. However he could be wrong.
But, he's willing to take that change and get sued by them if it turns out that they aren't or haven't harmed her. He also finds it rather strange that she would go to that building all alone and on her own will, there has to be an explanation to it. He knows she's afraid to go to her apartment, that must count for something. The police are going to investigate this and quickly. His father used to work for the police department and most of the people there know who he is, that's why they are helping him so quickly. When his call is finished with the police he goes back the the girl in the living room and notices that she is still writing on that page that she was one before, only she has turned it around and is writing on the opposite side.
He did offer her a computer to write on, but she refused. He doesn't know it, but she has never used a computer in her life and doesn't even know how to use one. He just watches her write and how focused she is at it. She writes from her heart and she wants him to know something, it's clear as day. She wants to tell him something, but she just doesn't have the ability to do it so she writes it down instead. She doesn't even notice him standing there, watching her. But, she does hear his thoughts. For the first time in her life, she ignores them. Her mind is so sharp and focused on writing everything down, never once missing out any detail and even if her hands are hurting, this is worth it.
"It's almost noon, do you want something to eat?" He asks her, she doesn't reply and looks as if she had not heard him. But she did but her mind doesn't want any distractions. She must do this, this is her only change of ever telling anyone. "I'm just going out to get some food for us, it will just take a few minutes as the grocery store is just around the corner" He says and he leaves the house, trying to hurry to get back to her. While she continues to write he goes out to buy some food.
He returns with the food in his hands, but still need to be cooked. He can do that. But, as soon as he enters the house, she's standing there and holding all the pages out for him to take. He does so. She wants him to begin to read it. The two of them go to the living room and he sits down with the pages in his hands. Giving her one glance, he begins to read the writing on the first page.
