Chapter 18

Jin P.O.V

"like it?" I asked Rize as I placed our stuff down on the table.

She ran around the room.

She was surely excited.

It was a peaceful beach side hotel. The room was made of white marble. A private pool at the side. A single room with a king size bed.

I'd tag it decent.

"I love it!" Rize yelled as she stood on the bed.

She said "Bet this is better than your bedroom back home."

I giggled at her.

"Oh baby, you have no idea what my home looks like. You haven't even seen such a thing your dreams." he said confidently.

She looked at me narrowing her eyes.

I said "come on get dressed, let's head out till there is daylight."

Rize P.O.V

We walked by the beach.

The waves crashed with a soft sound on the shore. My feet soaked in the white sand. It was a quiet beach. A handful people around.

It was beautiful. The sun was partly hidden in the clouds.

Seokjin held my hand as we tip toed on the creamy white sand.

"where is the stone now?" I asked.

"I'm tracing him down. The thing is he is a sorcerer. He also has magic. He managed to create this shield to protect him. I've almost broken it just a little while more and I'll get where exactly he is and then I'll get my stone back." Jin explained.

I nodded.

"remember you once said about the Basilisk... What is it?" I asked.

We stood in front of the sea now. The waves residue hitting our bare feet.

"The Basilisk is my true ability and the most powerful being in the world too. The basilisk is the strongest creature to exist in our legend. Once someone tried to kill and take its life my great grand father saved the Basilisk and as a a token of appreciation the Basilisk gave its self to our family. It stays here in my heart. It's loyalty is like no other. He's like a friend to me. The first born of every family ascends the basilisk. My heir is next." he said

I felt my cheeks burn at the mention of his heir.. His child.

"what can your Basilisk do?" I asked.

"the eyes of the basislik come in mine as in its like if I access the power my eyes shift to those of reptile and if someone looks me in the eye. His heart will stop beating and he will die there." he said.

I gulped nervously.

He smiled at me.

"Scared Love?" he said cheekily.

I cleared my throat.

"what...no of course not!" I said.

Jin pulled me close to him. He lifted me higher. My toes barely touching the ground.

"I've been the most fearless." Jin said as our foreheads touched.

"I've never been afraid of losing something until you came in my life. It was such a short time. But I don't know how I fell for you Rize.... I truely love you. I hope that I don't suffer any distance for you." Jin said earnestly.

My heart was beating rapidly. He's everything to me. I couldn't frame it. I couldn't say anything. I just... I felt it in my heart.

"I love you. Your my everything." I said.

He smiled at me and closed the distance between us.

His lips moved heavenly against mine. I savoured this. I can't ever let go of this. The love I've read about and the love Jin gives me its beyond any dream of mine.

He makes me feel the wonders of care and affection at his fingertips.

Under this daylight, your kiss Kim Seokjin, your love, I need it. I can't let go.

We sat in our hotel room.

Jin placed the food tray in front of me.

"what are you waiting for?" he asked me.

I bit my lip and pulled the huge chunk of chicken and stuffed my mouth.

I know he guessed I'm a big eater.

He starting eating as well. But he looked gracious even while eating. His etiquette just pushes me off the edge. Anyone who sees him looks back at him twice. He doesn't look ordinary. He does look like he is different and eternal must I add.

I then picked another chunk in the red looking sauce and stuffed my mouth.

"Wait Rize.." Jin tried to stop me.

But,

I felt my mouth burn. My eyes starting watering. My face went red. I chewed down a chilli.

"Oh my god Rize!" Jin yelled and came to my side.

I controlled my expression.

I swallowed the food and said half breathlessly "I'm.. I'm okay.."

My tongue was hurting. It was to spicy. It was one whole red chilli I think...

"No Rize here drink water. Your face... Oh my god..." Jin said while making me drink water.

It was burning my eyes starting watering. Jin held me as he rubbed my back.

"Stop pretending! It's hurting!"
Jin said angrily.

"Ahh! ITS SO SPICY!!" I yelled in defeat.

Jin quickly put a spoon of chocolate ice cream in my mouth.

I closed my eyes as the spice slowly died down.

I looked at Jin with puppy eyes.

He rolled his eyes at me.

"I always say eat slowly... But you never listen." he said dissappointed.

I creaked a weird smile.

He caressed my cheeks and said "I cant let anything happen to my queen now can I?"

Did he just...
Did he just address me as his queen...

"Queen?.." I asked.

Suddenly, his expression died down.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." he apologized looking away.

I wanted to comfort him but I wasn't sure what should i say.

I slowly moved my hand towards his and intervened it.

He held it tightly.

Suddenly his eyes glowed green.

I heard hissing from him and he closed his eyes and clenched his teeth.

"what's wrong?" I kneeled in front of him holding his face.

His eyes trying to shift from normal to green, those of a snake.

"hey.." I said holding him.

He then shut his eyes.

"Found him." he whispered.
