"Try to stay quiet." Chris whispered.

"Sure!" Damon yelled.

Karen slapped his arm and said "bringing him is a mistake."

We slowly continued into the forest. The nervous knot in my stomach kept growing. The woods were awfully quiet. I peeked around just for certainty so that nothing gets us. We all halted under a big oak tree to catch our breath.

"I guess we should split up." Irene said.

"That's the most stupidest idea I've ever heard. Thanks Irene but no." I said angrily.

How could they even think of splitting up in a jungle.

"I think she's right." Chris answered a after a few moments supporting her.

I widened my eyes at them. This was dangerous more like insane.

But they didn't listen to me. Karen Irene and Chris went one way and me and Damon the other. We would meet each other exactly in this location after 10 min if we didn't find anything.

"Rize?" Damon called out to me softly.

I looked at him as I walked behind him.

"hmm?" I replied.

"Is everything okay with you?" he asked caringly.

I wondered why he asked that. "of course Damon I'm fine why would you ask that?"

Damon sluttered "I don't know you just seemed tense that's why."

He continued saying something but I didn't listen I was distracted by a shiny object on the floor.

I quickly thought and answered "Damon check that place out let me know if you see something. I'll see behind these bushes. Alright?"

Damon was confused but agreed to it.

I saw Damon walk the other side I took this opportunity to quickly pick up the stone.

It was golden and glass like with a hole right thought it. It shined illuminating everything next to it. I smiled. I knew it I sold this I'd get a good amount of money. I could repy Irene, she's been paying the dorms rent for ages.

I quickly put the Stone in my bag and smiled. This trip surely was successful.

Suddenly a arrow struck next to the tree I stood it.

I yelled.

"Come on Rize we've got to run! The kistune are nearing!" Damon said grabbing my hand.

We ran as fast as we could until we reached the spot where we dispersed.

"where is Chris?" I asked panting.

Damon looked around trying to spot him.

I saw three figures approaching through the other side.

I pointed out saying "There...."

Damon and me looked at the shadowy figures.

Damon narrowed his eyes to see who it was.

Suddenly I felt two pair of hands on my waist. I yelled in fear.

"it's me it's me Rize, it's Irene. Come on lets get out of here."

They had already got to the car. We all ran and somehow escaped from the risky jungle.

As I was about to leave the forest I heard yelling and screaming. I used my senses and saw a group of young kids were getting in contact with the kistune.
