Chapter 5

Jins P.O.V

It's so sad to see she doesn't know her true potential. She should accept herself. Not everyone is blessed to be born as a night creature. As King I will take this as my duty to make her realise her worth.

She was hiding alot and I respect her feelings but from what I've heard right now. All her words she's messed her self up. I won't let that happen to her. No matter what she's part of my people. The creature of the Underworld.

She stood still in front of me.

I spread my arms and fire emitted from the ground. I leapt high in the sky.

She watched me shocked.

I smiled at her and used my magic to unleash my serpant.

He leapt from the ground. He was beautiful. A reflection of my inner self. He was huge and his scales made of golden fibre. Green eyes that stared  at me. The snake envelopes around my arms and looked at Rize.

I said "Can humans do this?"

I descended on the ground slowly looking directly at Rize.

Her feet stood frozen she was shocked for sure.

I leaned closer to her ear and said "Listen.."

Voices of hissing came from underneath her.

The grass below us rooted in green fire.

Rize was frightened seeing this. She quickly came to me and rested her back on my chest.

I held her and said "you don't have to be afraid. I'm here."

I felt responsible for her now. Almost like I cared for her.

My serpant came in front of her.

Her body stiffened and she closed her eyes.

I said "don't be afraid, your one of them.. One of us."

She slowly withdrew her hands from her face and looked at me and then my serpant.

I nodded in acknowledgment.

She slowly lifted her hand and carefully touched the serpant.

A smile spread on her face and she pet it.

" it's beautiful... " she said.

Not as much as you. I thought

I said "This is what we can do."

I curled my hands into a fist and commanded the ground to obey me. Small roots came out and formed a bowl underneath me and Rize.

I lifted us higher. The sky was filled with stars tonight.

The roots formed itself beautifully.

She held onto me as we ascended higher. The cold night wind blowing her soft brown hair. She looked down and I felt her getting scared of the height as she held onto my tighter.

I said "dont look down.. Look at what's above." I pointed at the sky.

She looked at the sky and I saw her eyes twinkle along with the stars.

She was afraid of a lot things but never admitted it. She was alone she thought so she never gave herself a chance to truly see her beauty of the being she was.

She looked at the starlit city around us. It was picturesque.

I said "You never allowed yourself to see the beautiful side to it. You never accepted yourself so how could you allow this kind of magic, this kind of beauty to come to you. I'm not saying your wrong. Im saying you should try to find the positive side to it. You should let yourself blossom in the beauty of whoever you are. You should first love yourself no matter what. And your powerful, beautiful, magestic why would you hate it?"

She looked at me with her beautiful eyes. She breathed in and said
"I hated who I was because I never had you to tell me all this."

I felt my heart flutter at her words. The glow her face emitted proved that she spoke the truth. I could hear her racing heartbeat without using my powers.

We descended lower, I didn't break eye contact with her neither did she.

Unusual as this sounds I questioned myself  is she truly the one for me?

Rize P.O.V:-

Tonight was a life changing night for me. Everything about this night was different and memorable to me.

I've never let anyone in.
Never told anyone my story.

He knew.

He knew so much. He took the effort to show me I'm a beautiful being too. He showed me I have reasons to love myself, to accept who I am.

How does he know all this?

We sat in the car as he drove.

He took so much effort for me, to make me smile.

I had to know who he truly was

"who are you Seokjin?" I finally said it.

He smiled, his eyes still on the road.

"Are you sure you want to know?" he asked with his gentle yet alluring voice.

"I want to know who you are?" I said confidently. I know he's not someone ordinary.

"I'm the King of Serpants, Ruler of the Underworld." he said nonchalantly.
